Alright, so I'm off to Maui for a few weeks. Condo living, so I won't be getting any resort deals on golf, which makes it a wide open competition for where I tee it up.

That's where you, my THP family, comes in. I want you all to help me pick where I golf.

I've got clearance from the Mrs. for three rounds of morning golf, and I'd like to stay as close to the condo as possible, so I've compiled a final list of courses that fit the bill of quality & location. The problem is that I'm too dang indecisive to pull the trigger with all of the options available.

That's why I need your help. I know most of you haven't played these tracks, so just vote for the one that catches your fancy. I will then get tee times at the top three vote getters.

Plus, if you have any feedback or opinions on any of the courses, please chime in!! (Maybe I shoulda put this in the Course Review forum...)

Thanks for your help, and thanks for making this fun for me!

ummm, where's the list?

where are the condo's located and are you stuck exclusively on maui?

Just put it up... I had some issues linking up all the choices.

You can all vote for multiple courses!

Yeah, pretty much stuck near Kehei since I will need to be able to get back to the wife and kid (should they really need me).

ahhh kihei... you cant go wrong with any of the wailea courses... its just south of there

The Irish in Kehei, Mulligans I believe is the name of it, is fantastic. Great music.

If you could drive a little north to Ka'anapalli, that is a fantastc course as well.

Thanks for the tip! I did the Ka'anapali circuit a couple of years ago, so I'm looking to expand this time around... although I'm tempted to revisit.

It was a crapshoot for me as I have no idea of the courses, so I just voted for every other, lol. Have a great trip and bring us some pictures.

I didn't vote because I have no idea. Just the fact you are going to Maui is good enough for me. Going to a driving range might be good enough for me at that point!

No doubt about it! Depending on if my iPhone arrives in time, I'm hoping to get some real-time golf updates posted up for my fellow THP'ers who need a fix!

I embedded a link for each course, cuz I figured most of us weren't all that familiar with these loops. Just click on the course name in the poll and hopefully you'll be magically swept away to Maui!

I'm totally in the dark on these babies. It looks like The Dunes is the best value. Wailea and Makena are both exquisite, but that comes with the resort prices. Can't find much on the Ellair place.

Kapalua – Bay Course

One of the best courses I've ever played. I'd say plantation but don't know how easy it would be to get on. But of those listed Old Blue looks like a great course for sure.

Never been to Hawaii, so can't give any help on course selection, but gotta say I would never go with out bringing my own caddy. And by the way I work cheap, food, bed and airfare, and I will bring my own skycaddy for yardages and am relatively good at reading greens. :golf2:

Enjoy and have fun, Hawaii is on my bucket list.

Not a salesman here...just want to help you save some money.
I love Hawaii and have been there a few times. If you go buy this discount card here ....

You can save a bunch of money. Every time I go, I buy one of these.
Unfortunately, Maui doesn't offer as many discounts as other islands, but you should be able to save some cash with this.

Personally, I like the Plantation course the most, but I haven't played the Wailea Gold course which I hear is their best.
The Bay course at Kapalua is another of my faves.
The Dunes course is a decent course, it's not like the resorts, but it is easier on the wallet.
Makena is real nice, and less money than Kapalua.

All right, per the top vote getters, I will be playing the following courses in the order listed:

Wailea Gold
The Dunes at Maui Lani
Wailea Old Blue

Thanks for helping out everyone who voted! I'm totally stoked and can't wait to share some pics and updates!

When you get to the Dunes...tell them that Bill Mills sent you.
That is my name and it just happens to be the name of the owner as well.
Too bad it's not my course.

Pukalani for the best value.
