I'll be traveling to Hilton Head for a family vacation the last week of this month (Sept.). Told my wife I would go only if I can play some golf. Which courses there are in good shape right now to play other than the Palmetto Dunes courses?

We always stay and play the three at The Sea Pines Resort -- Harbour Town, Heron Point, and Atlantic Dunes.

I played Harbour Town and Old South about 3 weeks ago. Old south was aerated a week or two before but was in good shape. I’d recommend both. Hilton Head National always comes highly recommended as well.

Golden Bear at Indigo Run was a pretty good value when I last played it in 2018; however, a buddy of mine played it last year and it wasn't in great shape.
