Hirzl Golf Glove - Forum Testing Review Thread

Before I had to take a golf hiatus I was able to use the glove for three rounds. I thought it was the best glove I ever used. I look forward to using it again. Nice feel, good tackiness, I didn't feel I was wearing a glove, i.e., no "bulkiness". A great product.

OK well it finally had to happen. My glove is finally starting to show some wear. I do have to say though that where the wear is happening it show me that I have grip issues and not the glove. I have also already ordered two more gloves, one for each hand so that I have a pair for playing in the rain. the first pic shows the sweat soaking through the glove but I still had no issues with clubs slipping.

Well, I think it's time to retire the HIRZL. This has been the best golf glove I have ever worn and will be buying another. The tear got bigger this weekend and isn't quite as tight as it once was. I think I am going to try the Hirzl Soft Feel next and see how that compares to this glove. Here are some pics of the the tear....

The palm of this glove is still fine, with plenty of grip left. The top of the glove just got pretty weak, especially when I was sweating and began to tear. I want to thank THP and HIRZL for this opportunity. I will definitely be buying another HIRZL and want to thank them for making great gloves. If you haven't tried one, or are on the fence about trying one, do it! You won't be dissatisfied.

These have been great reviews, does anyone know if the PGA SuperStores carry Hirzl golf gloves? I am going to be in Myrtle Beach in about 13 days for a week and was thinking about picking up a pair to use as rain gloves. Thanks everyone for your thoughts on what seems to be the best glove on the market.

Negative. I've asked about them a few times there, always met with the same blank stare and "we'll look into that..."

Use "The Glove" for a Fourth of July round and it was the hotest its been here in a long while. Needless to say I broke 90 for the first time with an 87 on the home course. And that was with double boogeys on 17 and 18. Not the gloves fault. The glove worked great even while sweating like a 41 year old on a hot golf course. Still tons of grip and life left in this thing. I am pretty sure this will be my next glove. It does everything that want and has lasted far longer then any others that I have tried.

I have seen them online at Golfsmith!!

They have not been there 3 weeks ago

Have a nice game

I've been using this glove for at least 20 rounds and it still works great. There are minor signs of wear on the palm and the whole glove is quite dirty, but it still works great. I actually just bought another for when this one finally does decide to wear out.

Has anyone purposely washed the glove yet to try to get it back to a nice white colour?

I say purposely as the accidental washing don't count - hehe

I know you put this glove through a beating and it held up really well. Great feedback on the glove testing!

Thanks Biggsy!

Went to the range last night and used the Hirzl, I need to take a pic to show the wear. It was used A LOT at the outing and there was A LOT of sweating going on. I have been using it since and its still in fantastic shape....considering. I will get a pic for you all as soon as possible.

ordered one off of Ebay last night. with all the great reviews i decided to give it a shot. was a little pricey for a golf glove but if it lasts longer its def worth the money.

kangaroo leather....ftw!

If a glove can have workability, this glove has it! The Kangaroo leather is off the charts in all categories!

Update on my testing t the Hirzl “Trust Feel “Golf Glove.
The Trust Feel golf glove still fits very well and is still tacky after playing 21 rounds of golf since I receive it. During the month of June, I have played 18 holes twice a week and sometimes an additional 9 holes during the month of June. The glove had gotten dirty mostly in the thumb area. I washed it after 18 rounds and it remains soft and playable. The white on the thumb area still looks slightly soiled.

This glove has performed very well in the hot and humid conditions in Atlanta while I was playing there. One day I was on practice range and it was very hot and humid, I was sweating pretty bad, the sweat was going down my arms inside the glove but I never lost my grip on the clubs, it started pouring down in a heavy rain, I had a few more balls that I wanted to finish and the glove never was slippery. I let glove dry out overnight and it retained it shape and soft feel. I am convinced that this is a very well made golf glove that looks very good after using it in different climates from Georgia, Florida and Colorado in the past few weeks.
I purchase a new Trust Feel glove from EBay last week for $21.00 and have not used it yet. Today, I played nine holes and on the last hole it started raining. This glove to me just performs very well in dry wet conditions. I only take it off when I am putting. I am curious to see how many rounds can I get out this glove?

How did you wash it?, (washing machine?)

Then the next question is; Is the Kangaroo leather buttery soft? :D

I hand washed it. I will machine wash it the next time. I think I remember another member using a washing machine.

Used my Hirzl again yesterday, I posted a video of how it is wearing, it looks no different after yesterdays round. It rained a bit and I sure was happy I had my Hirzl. It held up awesome in the rain, and I had no trouble with club slippage

Being the forgetful person that I am, I managed to leave my Hirzl glove at home for my rounds on Monday and Tuesday and I really missed it.
I'm glad to see the links being posted to places that have them for sale. It's high time that I order a couple more so that I'll always have one handy.
