By now it has been well documented that Honma Golf has had an interesting existence since making the leap in 2013 to bring their products stateside. Even after so many years of having a presence in the U.S., the name Honma is often met with either mystery, or excitement. If you have been a reader […]

Nice looking putters!

i remember a few years ago PGA superstore had the Honma putters out. Every time I would go there I would pick one of them up and say how amazing they felt. They were priced more than scotty camerons and bettinardi so I told myself no way I would spend that money on Honma

I really like the shape of that PP-503 series and really see myself actually giving them a chance this time

every honma club ive ever hit has performed well and felt incredible but for some reason I cant pull the trigger

This lineup is incredibly intriguing to me. I like that 502 model.

The 503 is gorgeous. So well done.

That's a beautiful putter and it really seems like the quality/craftsmanship is on point.

I wish they were a little more forthcoming on the upgraded shaft options, because I know they have a pretty robust graphite operation over there.

They look good, but also look a little too much like some other putters you can get cheaper stateside.

I really like the PP-505 Hammerhead and the $550 price is a value if you're looking at other high end offerings.

That hammerhead shape is really well done. I wonder how these feel off the face?

It’s interesting with the red on the 503. Not sure if I like it or hate it

That was my initial thought as well but I’m also thinking that there’s something with the craftsmanship of these putters that may set them apart.

Did not expect to see the 505 Hammerhead shape as I was reading. Also surprised by how visually appealing I find the shape, and the black and silver don't hurt that appeal at all. Pretty cool lineup all in all.

The 503 looks so much like a Scotty Cameron Futura 5W. If it is a struggle to get people to try Honma golf clubs, getting people to try a Honma putter is gonna be a nightmare.

That 503 is spectacular looking.

Great article @Jman !

They do have three different graphite options that are available for custom upcharge, all made by them. Though I do shudder to think of what the price might be.

Great article @Jman !
Thank you!

Other than being sent in 34 and feeling like it’s a putter for kids because of that (haha), I could plug and play this one and be happy.

I put it into play last week in a round with @Pops and it surprised him as well. It’s a damn well done putter, and it feels impeccable.

These are stunning. The 503 is beauty.

Is that PP503 not a copy of a Scotty Cameron X5?

Yea I did see them. They just don't really give any tech details on the website.

2k for the 5 star btw!

These look quite nice...I need to go see what all of their customization options are...that could get costly quick

Yeeeeeah, that’s craaaaazy haha

Discussed in the article that they took inspiration from major players for all of the shapes. No, it’s not a copy, yes, it looks similar.

All putter manufacturers do that these days. It’s about what shapes are popular.

Nice write up. Nothing about these putters jumps out at me though.

@Jman Do you know much about the other shaft offerings they have?? Those jumped the price up HUGE
