So many have said how good Andor is/was and with the new season I thought I would check it out. I am a big Star Wars fan and thought Rogue One was very good.

However, after watching season 1 and now on episode 3 of season 2 I just don’t see the hype. This is by far the most boring and drawn out story of all time in the Star Wars universe. It makes Acolyte look like an Academy Award winner.

I am at the same stage of watching and agree completely. Boring, slow moving, ...

What was the scene on Yavin 4 all about? Disorganized rebels shooting at each other and apparently unable to think or plan in any way, ridiculous rock-paper-scissors, ... Very odd.

In definitely not on the stage of all of Hollywood beating of owner or. Its fine. I’m on episode 5. If perfectly 5. Not the pinnacle of tv.

I'm not going to convince anybody. But I think it's fantastic.

It's a Star Wars story that does not revolve around space wizards and laser swords.

Not a Skywalker in sight.

Shows the more human element to the rebellion, including that the rebellion is not pure good guys and are willing to get their hands dirty.

The disorganized nature of the early rebellion is more realistic than having the early rebellion be organized and everybody on the same page.

Showing how the Empire (the bad guys) uses an oppressive and bloated military industrial complex to continue to enrich the already rich by exploiting the poor and working planets (the good guys).

There are no fan service cameos.

I finally watched S02E01 the other jight, and came away pretty disappointed.

I thought last season was really good, especially all the prison stuff, but so far there is nothing holding my attention at all.

And all that is pretty bad when you considerI thought The Acolyte was actually pretty interesting and a fun watch.

Agree that it might be slower than some shows but I think the story and the acting is top notch whereas The Acolyte was very pedestrian in both the acting and story for me. I'm all in on the last 6 episodes.

I really like it because I enjoy the expanded universe and good storytelling.

I have issues with Disney stream - I was 1/4 of the way through when a commercial (I thought we paid to have no commercials) did not go away when the show continued. Then they give me the "something is wrong" and then they prevented me from logging in - I'm canceling - this happens all the time - over $10 per month and it's a FUBAR.

This. It’s the expanding of the universe and I really like that a lot.

I was saying the same thing. WTF, rock paper scissors to settle a dispute. Talk about stupid. 😂

But that was kind of the point. The rebels are disorganized, distrustful, scared and learning as they go. They don't have the infrastructure or the leadership. It's storytelling and character development.

Agree with boring and slow.

It is no less slow than the Mandolorian in most episodes. Andor is very good. Maybe not great, but it certainly has moments of greatness. It is top tier Star Wars.

This is NOT the way !!

I still really like it, nothing wrong with character development and showing realism in how a rebellion would form.

I agree I've been highly disappointed in this. I even fell asleep during one of the episodes, it was so boring & slow :ROFLMAO:

It's a great show for storytelling, not for storyshowing.

I think I need more of how the other half parties.

Dance dance.

I'd put Andor just below the original trilogy, above everything else.
