How fancy is your ball maker?

I got a bunch of green translucent ones for pennies. I don't know why...........:ROFLMAO:

You did mean maRker, right? If not well, then.....NEVER MIND (in my best Emily Litella "voice").

depends, use anything from a tiny NES cartridge to a ball mark tool to a penny depending on the round. 🤷‍♂️

I usually carry one of these.

I purchase a ball marker from every course I play. In general, I have some pretty nice markers, some I wouldn’t have expected to be so nice!

Depends on the day haha. I have so many now. I buy them from the courses I play

Many years ago I bought a bag of 100 of the little plastic discs in assorted colors. Cost a couple dollars. I just keep a few in my golf bag and pull one out to use each round. Probably got about 60-70 of them left so I'm good for a couple more decades at least.

I like them because they are small and low profile and they have the little dealie on the back that sticks in the ground so they won't move.

Not fancy. Meaningful, and has to be earned, but not fancy. I've never quite understood the fancy marker/pitch tool unless you collect.

I’ve got a handful of them in the bag. Coins that are odd shape (not round), souvenirs, US coinage, poker chips. Whatever i pull first is what i use that round. I do try to have at least 2 in my pocket, one to use, one to loan of needed.

I typically use my THP Folds of Honor marker, but I have a couple Marine Corps coins I also use. It all depends on who I'm playing with. None are expensive/fancy, but they all have some sort of sentimental value.

Fancy? Not really fancy especially for a mass produced one that says Callaway on it... it's part of a hat clip/ball marker

Many thanks to the Big @fuffle master for this one. I also have some from UST, THP and courses I've played but, fancy or not, this is my favorite.

Chuck is my granddad name. No grandpas or what have you.

I just picked up a few new ones. 1624460011663.png

I have a handful. Just luck of the draw on which one I pull which day. Most are just run of the mill team or course markers.

A useless $5K poker chip from a long gone Vegas hotel/casino. (Silver Slipper) I use it when playing with tourists.

I also use a $1.00 slot token from some where. Game tokens from Pistol Pete's Pizza place are also in my bag.

Most of the time however, I just use a coin. Usually a quarter.

Just a small white background with the longhorn.

Mine is apparently currently worth 81 cents. I use a Canadian Dollar (A Loonie I believe it is called.)

I grab a few foreign coins before I play. Since they don't spend, I'll round them up from my car or my nightstand (wherever I empty my pockets) every now and then and throw them back in the bag where I keep them. There's always a huge, ready supply that work well for ball markers.

Dang, I hate bad grammer (That pun was intended!)

I’d imagine my ball MAKER is pretty fancy. 🤣

I always use a half dollar that my dad gave me when they moved houses. It's not sentimental by any means, but I have been using it for about 10 years now.

I use either a 2 british pound coin or a 50 pence piece.

I have a buddy who has a collection of Swag and Lamb crafted ball markers, $100 ea or so. One of them is a mini solo cup (swag) that is 3/4" of an inch tall, it's ridiculous but also hilarious.

I have a bag full of markers.
Everything from a guitar pick that I got from Brad Gillis at a Night Ranger concert to a McDonalds 50 yr Big Mac Coin to assorted casino poker chips to etc. My latest is a PXG challenge coin celebrating Gary Player that is almost the size of a manhole cover.

I use a piece of scrap metal I picked up years ago. I posted a photo of it here once and couple people said it was a knockout. Thinking about it I'm pretty sure I picked it up off the floor at work during a big remodeling project and somehow kept it all these years later.

I was recently cleaning out some drawers filled with knick-knacks and found a few foreign coins so I plan to add those to the ball marker rotation.

A simple thin little steel one about the size of a dime. It has a stem in the back so it sits in the hole on the end of my putter.
