How Far Do You Hit Your Sand Wedge?

Some of these distances are mind-blowing.

:surrender:

56 degree is 120-125 if I, getting after it. Smooth swing is 115-120

This is true, but my gawd....120 with a smooth swing is not fair
Maybe not fair....but I’m still bad at the rest of golf so it evens itself out haha

54 degrees is my 90 yard club from the fairway. Unfortunately if I need to carry 80 yards of water, it only goes 75.

My 56* wedge is my 90-100 yard club. I change the distance by choking down or not.

Assuming we are talking about my 54* wedge, then 75-80 on a normal swing.

I like to think my PW goes around 100 yards... so my SW might go about 70? give or take. If I'm lucky.

77 yards

Hitting draws with my wedges really has allowed me to play longer shots and varying trajectories. 112 max with my 53-degree, 95 max with my 58.

A normal (roughly 85-90%) 54̊ is 105-110.

I would say the most I'm comfortable hitting it is 100 yards. That's always been my cutoff for that club.

I won't use it for any more than 110 yards. And lately I've preferred to throttle back my 120 yard club (52°) for such shots.

But I did just put another SW back in the bag (haven't played since, though), it has a longer shaft and is good with the same swing up to 115 yards.

My 56* with full swing is right at about 110 yards. I don't typically take full swings with wedges.

Stock 54* swing is 100, can lean to 120 if i drive it but rarely find a use for that shot.

56 deg, generally 100-110 depending on the swing and ball placement

70-80 yards max.

105-110 for a 56*.
