How many birdies do you want to make in 2021?

Five rounds since last update. At least one birdie in each. Definitely carding more birds than I believed I would but I won't reach my original 2021 goal to average a birdie per round at each course I play. Tracking to help set a more realistic bar for next year.
Courses listed in order I first played them in 2021

You are averaging 1.44 birdies per round which is an amazing number, especially considering you play as a 12.
I know, it's been crazy! Was maybe a birdie every other round (at most) for many years but the metric has been steadily rising. Always hit more greens than my handicap would suggest but was such a sh!tty putter that it rarely mattered. Started the improvement in 2017 and I finally crested >one/round last year. Have since put in the work to hone a simple scoring range matrix and my birdie rate has gotten better this year. Besides major improvement in scoring when I get opportunities I'm focused on a 'birdie or bust' strategy a lot more often now due to the larger skins games that make up about 40% of my recent golf. Pars don't pay. HC hasn't moved too much because I accept the fact I'll suffer more penalties/doubles/triples in those rounds and also I'm on the wrong side of the age spectrum so I'm fighting to retain what distance I can.

If one set my over under at 100 birdies for 2021...and I’m on pace to play over 100 rounds...I’d be so happy with the over. At I’ve a quarter of the way through those 100 rounds...the two I have tells me I should be happy with double digits.
Well, of the 54 rounds I’ve posted for my official handicap I’m at 1% Birdie. That means I’m at 9.7 Birdies. So with the other non official rounds I must have made it to double digits!

I also managed my first eagle this season.

1 today gets me to 151 in 124 rounds. My original goal was set at 150 and/or to average around one birdie per round, so I accomplished the former and am on track for the latter, currently averaging 1.2 birdies per round. Other goal was to birdie all 18 holes on my home course this year, which I accomplished.

From here until the end of the year it will be more challenging to maintain the average one birdie per round - my home course is shut down until probably at least the end of the year so we're going to be playing a variety of different courses. It'll actually be good for my game, but it'll also take away that 'home course advantage' and make me work harder for the birdies.

I wanted 30 birdies in 2021. I am only at 21 birdies through 24 rounds in 2021. I have a lot of golf still ahead this year and think I can still make it. I feel like I have played more rounds than I have, but I spend more time at the range than the course, I guess.

I have about 5 or 6 rounds scheduled for September and October will slow down due to overseeing in Arizona. Hopefully I can hit my birdie goal in November this year!

I don’t keep count but after probably 75 rounds so far this year I have probably averaged around 2.5 per round. I typically get at least one but other times 3 or 4. Depends how putter behaves.

Great news you exceeded your goal @MattyD-MPLS well before end of season 👏👏👏.
