How Many Headcovers are Allowed in the Bag?

Five headcovers for me:

Driver
Mini driver
5 wood
21* UW
Putter

Regardless of the number, I am probably average or below at life.

14. I just realized my weaker play coincided with me removing my iron covers from my bag. I think I upset my clubs and need to apologize.

Have as many in the bag as you need for your game. It doesn't matter what anybody else does.

Play your own game. Be prepared for comments if 5 or more.
I'm prepared. Playing a 14-way bag and have 5 headcovers (Driver, 3W, 7W, 5H, Putter). I also have a ball retriever (well concealed) and use Martini tees. No belt clip for my phone, though.

come at me bro GIF

Tis not a question of being bad at life more a question of those who choose, not to ,
headcover As to … why not ?

@JB , missed opportunity , the subset of golfers who have head covers that are are attached by rope or twine or such … and then they get them tangled , like “abstract macrame “ lol

6 in total Head covers
Driver
3w
5w
2h
4h
Putter .

And every iron has it own too…

I currently have 4 (Driver, 3 wood, UW and putter) in my 14 way cart bag. I use the same Headcovers when I use my 4-way Ping Hoofer.

I'll have 7 when my 6H arrives. D-3w-3,4,5 & 6H Putter.
And I don't give a damn what some snot nosed twit thinks about it.

I have four:
--Driver, 7-wood, 9-wood, putter.

Anything that is not an iron or wedge

Whatever makes you happy but If I see irons covers on more than one golfer in our foursome, I know we are unlikely to finish in less than 3:45. ;) Luckily I’ve only seen two sets of irons covers this season in 90 rounds played.

Are they that slow ? Removing and replacing them?

Thats odd. Three of the guys in my regular dew sweepers 8 some use iron covers. We are usually done between 3:20 and 3:40

I don’t doubt it. Dew sweepers are almost always faster than normal golfers. It’s why I play most of my rounds early.

Currently at 5 (D, 3W, 2 hybrids and putter) but could potentially go as high as 7 as I'm thinking about swapping out long irons for hybrids / woods.

The way I see it - the more clubs that need headcovers gives me more reasons to buy special ones, say like a Dormie Network one if I'm ever lucky enough to go back to one or Hideaway if I'm ever extremely lucky to get invited.

Today's hybrids and fairways are too good to limit. I am at 4 and don't see that changing. D, 3W, 4H, 5H.

I can't say I've ever felt compelled to count anyone else's.

If you put a head cover on one you are definitely bad at life.
That's not what I meant at all but the mental image of that has me dying laughing. Thank you for that.

I'd say use as many as you want.

I will raise an eyebrow at 6+
