How much cash do you keep on you?

$20 for a tip. A gentleman always has cash on them.

I always carry cash as I hate using cards that can get hacked. Counted the cash in my money clip just now and have 460.00 in my pocket.

Right now $75. Always have some on me. Tipping, emergencies etc. Really don't understand why folks don't carry some with them. I mean what is the downside?

Zero cash money 98.752% of the time. If I know I'm going to need cash for a tip or something like that, I'll go to the bank and get it.

It depends how much I've won in money game lately haha. Usually $100-$300. Back when I was running my Thursday night game (powerball pot that built) or playing poker in the winters I might have anywhere from $500-$1500 on me.

I usually have between $40 and $80

Currently, I have $59 but there’s a $50 bill in there so I might as well just say $9

Thanks @Daluteh this thread got me thinking if I still had a 100.00 bill stashed in my wallet. So I had to look and low and behold I am 500.00 richer than I thought I was.
Maybe I should go all out THP and go get some new irons at lunch today. :ROFLMAO:

Never more than $20 nowadays. I used to have anywhere from $50-$100 but I honestly can't recall the last time I had more than a couple of 5s and 1s in my wallet.

I always have 100-200 in cash with me, but it can last quite a while because I charge everything.

For me it's just habit. I hate not having cash on me. Plus it's easier for smaller purchases or inevitably when my daughters ask for money, lol

I used to be a bank for my children as well but they are grown and out of the house.

I kind of feel like I deserve at least 30 bucks of that to take myself out for lunch.

I very rarely carry cash. Like can count on one hand the number of times I've carried cash in the last probably 4 months. I am essentially never at a place that doesn't take a card or Apple Pay.

I did have cash on me at the WWGC to tip caddies and staff at Victoria National. I had cash on me at a country concert because you needed it to buy beers at the beer tent. And I think I had some cash on me for a buddies weekend in August that included golf. Outside of that I cannot genuinely think of another time.

Enough to pay for my weekly game, plus any potential bets, usually $20-30. Right now I have about $75 on me because I had to get some cash to pay for entry to a cornhole tournament. I've got %$85 waiting for me at the golf course from our game a couple weekends ago, not sure what I'll do with that much on me.

$30-$50

That sits there month to month and never moves. I'm 99.9% Apple Pay or credit/debit card contactless payments.

The cash is really only there in case there is a card machine issue. We don't have a tipping culture here in the UK, and where we do tip it is usually now done as a gratuity add-on to the terminal for the contactless payment.

Mostly nothing except once a month when I have $30 to pay for a haircut.

$209 today.

It can range anywhere $0-$300+, usually $2-300. I start think about replenishing when I fall below $100.

Currently have $125.

I seldom carry cash any where I go. Maybe onl 2-3 times a year, if that. Usually on road trips. Not even on the golf course.
I basically exist on plastic.

On the golf course, the cart person runs a tab for us locals, and we square up in the 19th after our rounds.

I typically have a little bit of cash on me.
Of course hidden between 1 dollar bills.

You know, because thieves won’t take a wad of ones and won’t check the bills in the middle. Or at least that’s the false since if security I tell myself

I pull out $200 when I hit the ATM, and it usually lasts me a couple/few months. My barber only takes cash and I use it on course for the bev cart, basically everything else I use Apple Pay via my phone/watch - it's quick, convenient and secure. 2% cash back isn't much, but it adds up over time and it's 2% I wouldn't have if I paid cash.

Lucky $2 bill stays tucked in the wallet and that's it.

Usually $0.

Right now I have cash because we were traveling. Then I got more cash because I won some skins game.

Day to day, around $100-200, if I’m going to a nice course, will probably throw a couple hundred more in for caddy, locker room attendant, bag drop tips.
