I was fitted for a driver several years ago, a Callaway X460 Tour model, with an Aldila NV 65 R shaft and an oversize, Lamkin Crossline grip. The total weight of the club is 346 grams. Apparently, the oversize grip added 26 grams to the weight of the club. I don’t know what the swing weight of the club is. I assume that I might be able to swing a lighter club faster. Is this something I should be paying attention to? Should I be able to hit a lighter club farther? My swing speed tops out at 90mph at this time and I’m trying to get back some of the distance I’ve lost as I’ve gotten older.

I could not even begin to guess how much it weighed.

Just weighed my Mav Max - 318g with a Riptide 50g R flex shaft and Winn Dri-Tac oversize grip.

Ooh, weighing. I will do this. Hold please.

Balance point, SW, and total weight can all have their role in how fast someone swings.

Huh. Look at that. My gamers are practically twinsies.

Had no idea.

Edit: Totally forgot to say what they are
