I checked the $100-200 box because I was able to play Coeur d'Alene for $175 as a hotel guest and it , to me is an above average experience.
That being said I did pay over $300 to play at Marco Simone in Rome two weeks after the Ryder cup in '23 knowing it would be something special, and it was.

Mrs. Reject would be there so it would have to be $600, not sure I could talk her into that though!

i've got some very nice resort courses near me that are in the $100-$200 range.
but when i'm on vacation i'm willing to pay more, even for courses that sometimes aren't better.

for example, we're taking family spring break to Myrtle Beach - classic resort golf options. it's probably a $5k trip give or take.
spending an extra $100 on a green fee moves the needle...2% of the overall expense.

Next time i head down to South Florida. I'm going to hit The Park in Palm Beach. So that will cost around $250 ish plus caddy if playing ion the early am and gets me over $300.

I paid $250 in Vegas and would probably pay a little more to play that course again

$200-300 max, just because I'm on vacation. Plenty of fine courses for that kind of money, or less.
Brother-in-law suggested we play Pebble Beach last year. I was releived that he was just joking.

I picked $300+ because i wouldn't want to limit the course(s) i could play... especially if it were somewhere on my bucket list.
I'd hope for other more affordable options as well but, yeah.... i'd go 300+ if i felt it was worth it.

I voted $200-$300 as that's pretty much the max I would want to pay for a course. I'd prefer to keep it under $150 if possible though. I will be paying $360 at Wolf Creek in about 3 weeks and $59-$170 for the other courses. I think it will be around $850 for 5 courses. Wolf Creek is a bucket list type course and it's for my best friends bachelor party and is also kind of a last hoorah for me before the baby comes.

really depends on the vacation.. But I dont think I would ever pay more than 300

Great question and recently just had this dilemma. Got back from NZ last week and decided to skip not 1 but 2 courses, Kinloch Club and Cape Kidnappers.

Decision is made easier as it's both my wife and I, even with the strong conversion rate Cape Kidnappers was running $421 USD per person without the cart and Kinloch Club was $305 per person including the cart. Meanwhile you've got country courses with awesome views as honestly there weren't many bad views anywhere you went in NZ for $30 a person.

I paid a boat load for Tobacco Road....$245???

It was worth it, but anything over $300 I'd probably only play on a corporate dime, outing, birthday gift, etc. French Lick Dye Course is in southern Indiana. That is something over $400. Absolutely brutal, but I would like to play that at some point. Just not at that price.

The fact I'm as close as I am and have never played it or Circling Raven really needs to change.

The most I've paid for green fees is when I've been on vacation.
