I've replaced my shoes now after two seasons of like 80 rounds of walking and I have started replacing gloves a few times a season after the get stretched out, but my MO with most stuff is to drive it until the wheels fall off.

I know my grips are due, but I'm holding out for new irons. I've also looked at bags since mine's pretty ancient but still serviceable.

Anyway, what's your regular rotation on various pieces of equipment?

My wheels look pretty good when things get traded in. Next owner is usually happy on that. lol

Couple times a year mostly. Spring and fall on some stuff. Wedges maybe more, shoes definitely more, putter is very rare.

I used to change a lot, recently it’s been quite a while. I don’t see me changing stuff other than getting new gloves and golf balls next year unless I get into an event that I get something

I change. I do it sometimes out of boredom sometimes necessity. Sometimes I'm lucky and get to review something.

Grips are usually once a year, clubs a lot less often. I usually get at least 2-3 years out of golf shoes, but that doesn't mean I won't buy more if I find a pair I like. Bags are sometimes multiple years, but subject to whim. I've had my pushcart for about 14 years and it's still going strong. I use Caddy Daddy gloves, so they don't need replacement very often - I usually get at least 60-65 rounds out of a glove.

Too often. I like new and shiny but also like old and trusty.

I replace as required , when wear on consumables is apparent or affects play performance…

As for hardware , not a punisher of me gear nor , high frequency player … this has been due to
Life and time , constraints . This will change in next year so , my thoughts may change entirely lol

Usually is something that’s a step change forward not incremental that would create a
“ need “ lol to purchase

Do have couple of pieces of older equipment that’s brilliantly monotonous with performing so there’s that also.

Every year on equipment if not sooner, gloves quite regularly.

Gloves I’ll use a couple months. Shoes once a year. Clubs at my discretion.

  1. Gloves- when worn out/holes
  2. grips similarity but I typically get 2 tears as I clean often/rejuvenate to lengthen cycle
  3. wedges - get 2 full seasons so usually replace at beginning of 3rd year with prior year but new
  4. Bag- when worn out (zippers, straps, fading) - I am on year 3 or 4 with my Vessel and still looks like new
  5. Shoes - when worn out or start to leak - usually 2 years but I cycle 2-3 pairs at same time
  6. Other golf equipment- never wear it out before updating but usually every year or 2 years but that will change with retirement at end of year

Gloves every couple of years ( I seldom wear one)
Grips- as needed, around once a year.
everything else that isnt a club, when it needs replacement
Clubs- there is no rhyme nor reason. When I want something new and shiny, I get it.
Wedges, as needed when spin drops off too much. These RTX Zips and S 23's in the rotation just wont quit...........

You guys own clubs long enough to change grips?

I've played over 300 rounds with the same grips, and after 132 rounds this season I'm still using the same glove. I clean my grips and wash my glove regularly and it really extends their life. I'll keep the same bag until it's no longer functional. As far as shoes go, I haven't purchased any in three years (they also get a deep clean).

before joining THP I would go many years without replacing anything at all. THP has turned me into an equipment ho.

Shoes are about once a year.............80+ rounds of walking wears them out.
Grips are usually just the ones that look worn, driver usually every year.
Bag is when it looks worn, already have one new in the box waiting in standby.
Gloves are never now that I tested out the Claw Daddy brand, you can't kill these things.
Clubs are when I get bored or see something new and shiny and have to have them.

Usually irons and wedges are every 2-3 years. Drivers just depends. I've switched pretty much every year since going to the Grandaddy minus the year of Mavrick and I did fwy woods then. Putter is just dependent on what's out and my itch/how I'm rolling current putter. Grips is every year, minus putter grip.

Either by need or just seeing something else I want to use more.

Was gonna write something similar to this...wouldn't say I have a timeline for stuff, but when I feel like I need to replace something I'll do that

But most of the time it comes down to wanting to try something/buy something which is OFTEN :ROFLMAO:

I rarely wait until something is 'too used' maybe with the exception of gloves.

Shoes, Clubs, Apparel etc. I just get new stuff because I want it and because new and shiny is fun

Usually when something needs tp be replaced due to wear.
Occasionally I will read a THP review that makes me want to try something new.

This is the realest.

Grips I will replace in later winter/just before the new season starts. Actual clubs...it depends but wedges are the most commonly replaced clubs every 2 years, maybe slightly more often.

Shoes are every 2 years; I walk most rounds and alternate between 4 pairs.
