Can you give me some advice (ball placement, club choice, technique) on how to hit a pitch shot from a tight lie? I seem to always hit those thin. Thanks.

I'll give it a shot, hope you dont mind:D

Ball placement further back towards ur back foot. Have ur weight more on your front foot. These two point makes a huge difference for me.

Try not to scoop the ball, let the loft of ur club do the work. Do not use SW for tight tight lies. PW or a low low bounce club is best.

One thing I also like to do sometimes, on short pitches, is hold the wedge (or whatever club ur using) the same way I would with my putter. It helps with control.

Hope ur pitching like a demon soon HK:alien2:

The advice is pretty good. Check out THP TV Volume 1 for the short game tips. I want the ball back in the stance, hands pressed towards the target, weight on the front foot. Lock in the hands and play this like a long putt. Check out the video and let me know what you think.

Oh heck, I just realised that this thread was in the "Ask The Pro" section.

I'm banning myself from posting here :shut-mouth:

That's a great video. I'll have to check out the rest of the volumes. Thanks for both your help.

I am glad you enjoyed it. I think JB and I need to shoot some more of these in the future.
