How many times have you walked onto the green after hitting your approach from the fairway and found a scar on the green less than three feet from your ball where the pin used to be?

How many times have you actually hit the ball from the fairway to less than three feet from the pin?

Maddening, isn't it?

Not really. That's not where I thought the flag was so I'm guessing I would have missed that position

I'm on a roll this year where it seems like I have a ball end up inside an old cup circle every other round. But then again they usually move our holes every day so there are several old cups visible on every green.
