What is your style putting particularly in those say 3 to 6 footers. Are you firm in back of cup taking out some or all of the break. Do you hit it gently to let in drip over the edge. No wrong answer just curious.

I used to drip, now I’m feeling more confident in my stroke and I shoot to roll it in such that it would go 1-1.5 feet past

I'm a "die it in the hole" putter, and most of my misses are short. I'm trying to work on it, but it's so hard to rewire my brain for it.

My firm sometimes can be a little much. Most lately have gone in but could easily go by 4 feet. Touch is not good at the moment.

It hard to hit it firm if your worrying about a 4 foot comebacker.

Almost always back of the cup from that range.

I'm a vomit it into the hole putter and I tend to leave them short.

Exactly, and it seems like I can't find that middle ground. It's either leave it just short or blow it way past and increase the chance of 3-putting.

That’s such a lovely image of your putting stroke. I can truly imagine it

I feel your pain.

Firm and back of the cup.

depending on the break will depend on my speed. small to no break I will hit it a little firmer. Add more break and I want it to die at the hole.

I'm an in with pace type of player. But I think dripping them in would give me less stress on the clean up putts when I miss

Roll it in with confidence! Dripping it in gives more chance for funny things to happen or the grain grab it.

I wish I was firm, but most times I'm dripping.

life is an awful lot easier when you let it go in the front door hahaha

Those follow ups on the hammered misses are not a happy world to live in!

Dripping in for sure.

I’m not against a little hammering.

Does your putting style change when hammered. 🤣🤣

I don't know that I've played much golf hammered, but I've putted pretty well at your place while hopped up on Crown and Sprite zero lmao

It’s got to be a bit of both, if you‘re back of the hole on a 3 footer downhill left to right stimping at 12….good luck to ya.

I aim to have the ball stop shortly after the hole, so I guess I'd say with a little pace.
