Steel... Nippon NS Pro 980GH DST in Stiff. One of the shaft options in the Srixon Z565 irons... these are really good steel shafts. 103 grams and 2.4 torque.

I have had shoulder problems for a few years. Switching to graphite help out a lot.

I have always used steel.

Graphite for me. I don’t see myself switching back to graphite any time soon either.

Steel. I see no need for graphite in irons.

Graphite Recoil 110s

Steel and Graphite; was fitted for the Steelfiber i95 shaft so that is was I'm using.

Exactly! Overlooked a category. I've tried steel fiber, but the best fit was a tapered steel shaft as indicated below.

Steel for me , but have used graphite in the past.

I’m graphite for life on all but high lofted wedges and putter.

informal poll - your iron shafts - steel or graphite?

thank you for sharing!

Graphite.

Played 54 holes yesterday. With my steel shafts, my shoulder would have been killing me.

With the new graphite shafts, it's not.

:)

Steel all the way right now. In the future, who knows. I'm not opposed to playing graphite. I just haven't done any testing with them yet.
