Honma has spent decades refining the relationship between traditional craftsmanship and modern engineering. The Tour World line is the clearest example of this philosophy in practice. Last year’s TW767 series delivered a noticeable shift in ball speed technology and versatility. The new TW777 series builds on that foundation with a cleaner aesthetic, rebalanced weighting, fine-tuned […]

I like the look of the GET sole, pretty close to rails

Honma makes such clean looking clubs. And anything even resembling rails on a FW/H gets my attention!

The fairway wood is one of the most intriguing to come out in a while to me and this is a seriously in depth look at it.
The sole is unique enough that I really want to give it a try and the entire story is interesting.

The story of the sole here is really interesting.

Great write up!!! Honma always looks clean, but the sole of the FW might me the most interesting part.

These look really good. Im really liking the sole design and compact look.

I was a big fan of the hybrid last year. Big, big fan. If there was one complaint I had it's that the sole/leading edge were pretty bulky and squared off, which it the GET sole immediately takes care of. I have a really good feeling this will spend a long time in my bag in 2026.

Honma makes great fairways. Just wait a year to buy them when they are dirt cheap.

I seems the TW777 MAX FW needs a serious look for those of us that struggle with a fairway. The UT's also look like they could be a good alternative to a UW.

GET Sole has been around for quite a while. Lots of nods to the past in this line, all while moving tech forward. It's very cool.

Reminds me of the Nike Dymo with the grey across the back.

I really enjoyed this read. @Hawk you absolutely killed it. I know many enjoyed the hybrid in the past when we did some forum testing. I really enjoyed a past 3w, but these look so darn good. The sole tech, not new for them, but I really dig it. Thanks for leaving no stone unturned.

Pretty locked into my current fairway wood setup, but you know I'm going to be giving this a chance to make the bag. The hybrid is pretty much a no-brainer.

Still find it interesting they call their hybrid a UT

The GET sole is pretty neat. I loved rails on my hybrids but was lukewarm at best with them on fairways. Seems like this splits the difference

These look great. The GET sole sounds like a winner. And the big mole logo 🤩🤩🤩

I kind of love the little guy on the sole. He's great.

the top line alignment is kind of awesome. I love the way it presents.

Not sure which I'd be more inclined to reach for right now. On the one hand, it looks like you could tie knots with trad version, but the Max looks like you'd have a hard time missing with it.

this is easily my favorite pic of the bunch.

GET Sole seems like there's a lot of really positive ground engagement potential built in with some great rail-like presence. Figuring that will make fairway play sooooo much easier.

I have to say, the in hand pics do these WAY more justice than the stock stuff. They present so much better.

It's interesting that the hybrid looks quite shallow at address but then the face on pic gives it a heck of a lot better depth presence. Curious.

really interesting release. I dig what they have going. Really like the shape of that UT.

the "face on" pic of the hybrid surprised me in a good way. I was even more interested in trying it after seeing that pic.
