What happened to the Harvester?! I have been out of this thread, but that one is absolutely on my list.

I'm CONFIDENT I can still get that done, my contact is still in the industry, it's just a matter if HIS contact is still working at Prairie Dunes...which I THINK he still is.

Ive never come before. Only ever been to 1 THP type event before. This is close enough that I for sure wanna make it!

That's the course coers, leftysean and I played last year before meeting up with everyone at the hotel. I enjoyed playing it.

All comes down to locking a location and date down. The earlier we know the better!

I think it might be #1 on my list, it would be awesome to stay on site and play that awesome looking track!

Agree with Harvester....i would love to see the THP'er that could get to #15 in 2 from the tips (650 yards)...I know I could not get it there.

You know you can bomb it if you wanted to, you just don't like making the rest of us feel bad, which I appreciate!
Honestly, at this point I'm just hoping I'll be able to play golf this year. Since Thanksgiving day I've had my back lock up on me 3 times. Once when I went to pick up my niece (1.5 year old), another time when I simply bent over to pick up my shoes, and then the third and worst was slipping and falling on ice just before New Years Eve. Seeing a chiropractor and doing a bunch of stretches, but that's about all I can do as it's a muscle thing and not structural.

It's a nice course, but nothing compared to TCI. And I'd put Coldwater in front of it too.

It's a nice course, and I'd consider it well balanced in terms of tough holes and easier holes. Sucks in the wind.
Zombie Burger, in my opinion, is the most overrated place to eat in the history of Des Moines. Overly greasy french fries. And the worst part, poor quality beef (like elementary school grade beef). That's just me though, and my wife, most people rave over the place.
Severe slopes?? You play at Wakonda, I've never 3 putted so many times and felt good about my game. They may not be severe slopes, but with the speed of the greens, I mean, just wow.

My vote would be staying at the casino in Osceola in that case, affectionately called 'the boat.' But that would be the wrong direction from Des Moines.
You won't be disappointed by it.
