Iron Sweet Spot

Hey guys, just wondering if you can help me with a bit of a beginner question. Since I started I've been making better and better contact, but still have a pretty basic question. Where exactly is the sweet spot on my iron. I've heard that its on the 3rd or so groove on the club face, but does that apply to all irons. I know game improvements have a lower COG but how does that correlate to to the sweet spot. Is there a way to find out where it is on my specific iron?

The only way for you to tell for your specific iron is to take the shaft off and balance the head on the face on a pinpoint.


Or you can just aim for the face and swing!
