I agree. Had never even thought about Srixon inron until talking to a scratch buddy who had them and he said they're the best irons he ever hit.In the general golf world, it’s the Srixon ZX line for me. They’re just so good
The Gen 1 ZX7 and ZX5 mkII are on my Mount Rushmore of clubsI agree. Had never even thought about Srixon inron until talking to a scratch buddy who had them and he said they're the best irons he ever hit.
Got fit and ordered the ZX5s in 2022 and still very happy with them. 3 buddies have also bought the ZX5 variations
Have them and they’re still my gamer. Too consistent to consider replacing. And I’ve tried. They got zero love when they came out and even the PXG fitter didn’t have me try them at a fitting. I had to ask. And within 5 swings it was order time. The OG 2019 version of PXG 0211.
Everybody figured PXG has just pushed out some low-end cheap junk. Still the most accurate irons I've gamed.
i started with cb3s and progressed to cmbs. both were very good irons but the cmb was ahead of its time in design, looked great, performed and felt great. not the most forgiving but i feel i could still play theem today and want for nothingMost of what Adams put out in the early to mid 2010s. CMBs, Idea A12OS, Idea Pro, Tech V4, the list can go on.
It's a shame what happened to that company.
Wilson beat Nike by several years. Payne Stewart played with the Wilson staff progressive in the early 90’s.Probably the original nike procombos, As this was likely the first or one of the first combo sets ever released and they felt amazing too.
I've always wanted to grab another set after getting rid of them. MP-30 is my "backup" just for fun set now but those CMBs will always be one of my favorite irons of all time.i started with cb3s and progressed to cmbs. both were very good irons but the cmb was ahead of its time in design, looked great, performed and felt great. not the most forgiving but i feel i could still play theem today and want for nothing
