Is there a ball you won't play?

TP5's are on my list of throwbacks when I find them on the course.

Just think there are better options out there, and never felt they played well when I did try them.

The general ilk of TopFlite/Nitro - other than that sector - no, I'm always willing to swing a few and see what happens.

Version 2 Kirklands (the ones that just recently got replaced), those physically hurt my hands when I hit them. They are the only golf balls I have ever actually returned to the store; that's how much I hated them. It was very disappointing as I liked the previous version, and luckily, the new version has them back on track.

Interesting...I have to ask....what debacle are you referencing?
When the FJB whole chant came out people started ordering titliest balls with that on them. Titliest stopped all orders with that particular script as well as the actual $%#& Joe Biden. While they allowed similar Trump script and even after the restriction people tried similar scripts with trump and they allowed it.
I am not favoring one over the other but the fact they played favorites with it turned me off forever.

TP5’s

I just think they’re not as good as the other offerings out there. They also create spin issues for me, in terrible ways.
See for me they gave me the best numbers. Goes to show the importance of fitting

I just need to keep my name off the list. But man, I stand by the red golf ball being rough…

Anything with massive alignment lines on them like the triple track and whatever the TM one is, I don't use them and I don't like them. Also divides because they make me nauseous.

Certainly no low-compression/super-soft balls. No "distance" balls. No colored balls apart from yellow (I'm actually playing those more often than white now).

Anything Nike. Ever.

Anything that feels hard/clicky off the putter.

Anything Nitro.

I don't play red because they're hard to find. I don't play blue because blue balls are never a good thing.

2 Piece balls have higher launch less spin from non full shots and chips.

I'll pay up for a 3 piece.

Basically any ball thats DTC only. And TaylorMade balls.

Just dont have the standard of perfection i hope for to hit it a mile OB on e a round. Lol

I really don't like playing Prov1x.. based off the feel of it and results Ive had i would pick CTX. PROV left dot, AVX all over the Prov1x

Not a TM guy either. But your spin comment has ne intrigued. Too much? Or too little?

Anything without a urethane cover.

There are loads I don’t and have never played. Although, I wouldn’t rule out any premium ball, as they’re all so good.

Too little. No iteration has changed it for me either

Thats exactly what Ive found with every single TM ball & iteration of it in perpetuity. Strange.

I am all for having fun or choosing an easier to see color, but I'm out on blue balls. I had a blue ball on a normal, summer day, and it wasn't loosing it in the sky but rather the dark bluish purple color made me lose it in the thick stuff practically every time I missed a fairway. Finally lost it in a thick bush. Hadn't finished 9 holes.

In addition to color, I need a ball that will hold a green and spin without over spinning. I tend to be a pretty high spin player so I can't play an overly spinny ball. Short game is a key part of my game with a lot of small greens I play on, so my ball needs to spin. Nitros are out haha

Yup. Always FAST for me, but lack in spin

I won't play Taylormade TP5. I've tried each generation but I get no spin from them. The Tour Response is much better for me. Not sure why this happens.

The TP5 hate gets me. I spun the mess out of it.
