Joaquin Niemann's look-a little too casual?

Collar and tucked in please and thank you in advanced.

Joggers as they are called should be reserved for bumming around at home. Keep it professional gentlemen.

I am always amazed at the lack of understanding of the term 'decorum'! There are places that one should show a little respect. I saw Neimann on the broadcast and thought he looked rediculous andappears to lack a basic understanding of professionalism and even self respect!. Proper dress is one of the standards of professional life whether it be golf, business. or the military. If you feel so strongly about not conforming to the code go someplace else!

I mean I conform to the code, I think. Golf slacks. Collared shirt. White tee underneath to stop sweat stains, casual or tennis shoes depending.

Like I said I look the same at work, on the course, doing yardwork, running errands, etc.

Basically like I’m a pair of shoes away from going golfing at any moment, which is generally my plan.

Definitely not me. I have my golf shorts, which are nicer, and my casual shorts, which are more....casual. The golf course is the only place you'll ever see me in a collared shirt or slacks/chinos/golf pants. From about April until November, the only place I even wear shoes at all is in the gym or on the golf course - otherwise it's flip-flops or barefoot, depending on what I'm doing. You can get into just about every restaurant in town here in shorts, a tank top and flip-flops, and when the weather is warm that's me about 99.9% of the time when I'm not golfing. The only restaurant in town that even requires a collared shirt is at my golf club.

How cool were they?
Notice how sharp they look without corporate logos splattered all over them?
Yep, that was before crass commercialism took over all sports.

Same thing down here. For 9 months I’m wearing shorts, a tee and sandals. Too hot for socks, much less shoes or sneakers.
When I golf though, I look like I’m competing in the U.S. Amateur Championship.

Yeah, and those cardigans were cool as hell. Back in my Catholic school days I rocked those things with the mandatory shirt and tie. 😉
They still look better to me than the jackets and vests I see in golf stores. I hate those high collared sleeveless things they call a vest....

I still prefer the pullover 'v' neck vests, but they're getting hard to find. I don't like the high collar quarter zip vests because if I'm wearing a vest, chances are I'm probably starting the day off with a jacket over it too - and then I have three collars to deal with (polo, vest and jacket).

I dress nicer for golf than I do for anything else, and it ain't even close. Yeah, our summers are pretty much nonstop 100+ degree days for 4 or 5 months straight, you wear as few clothes as possible!

No issues here my warmer climate brother, 😂

I just buy all my annual clothes during Bedget Golfs Summer Clearance. Something gets me all excited buying a $100 pair of pants for $10-$15 bucks. Plus the simplicity of being a bachelor and not having to worry about matching. I bought 8 pairs of the same pants one year, lol. They were grey. I’m down to my last good pair. They’ll match any polo I’ll throw on.

I do have some golf shorts too for hot weather, but 99.999% of the time you’d see me looking like a pair of golf shoes (and some of the spikeless ones I’ve been known to wear as casual, lol) and a bag of clubs away from the first tee.

Keeps things super simple. Until the women at work notice you’re wearing the same pair of pants everyday and literally think you’re wearing the same pair everyday, lol. No, I work in plague central, my clothes go in the washer the second I walk in the door. I just buy a lot of the same stuff. If I find something I like I’ll go all in and get a bunch. Kinda looking forward to this year’s as I’m swimming in last year’s stuff at this point.

Lost 60+ pounds, about 6” on my waist and a full shirt size+. The only thing holding my pants up at this point is my belt, which I’ve had to even modify. Hell, throw one of those in my cart too Budget Golf!

I know exactly what you’re talking about, too many damn collars!!!
Last year my daughter ordered me 3 v neck vests from Macy’s.com they were made by Club Room, which I think is their store brand? 100% cotton, and only about $20 each when they’re on sale. See if you can find them, you’ll like them a lot.

Only next to kids thinking a t-shirt is fashion.

I agree with both of you. Even if you’re fat as hell, show up looking like business.

When you duff the first tee ball from the tips the starter just might not make you move up. (Your recovery better be good, lol).

This guys dress is better than seeing that SIMS 2 video game hat out on the golf course. I didn’t know EA sponsored Dustin

Makes him look kinda like a busboy imo.

@Jman had a good take on this on the most recent episode of off course with @Canadan. i hadn’t really considered the economics of not being able to afford traditional golf clothes. that shouldn’t preclude someone from enjoying the game.

Every time I see that cap it reminds me of something you’d see a surfer wearing. I was wondering if he picked up a ‘board wax company as a sponsor.

Joaquin would have a hard time with using that as his excuse, though! 😆

I was watching today, and another young kid, van Rooyten(?) was wearing joggers.
I pictured a bunch of you guys clutching your pearls when I saw him. 😜

Van Rooyen has been wearing them for a while now, I think the shock has worn off already. People have gotten used to seeing his bare ankles.
