Johnnie-O Apparel

Wearing the new TB Talon hoodie and I already know I need more than just my single Lightning and Rays of the heathered. Just love the fit and hope to find these at a few Dormie clubs soon.

I haven’t. I like some of their patterns and styles. But the quality and construction leaves something to be desired.

Things like too few belt loops, poor quality stitching, and collars that will wrinkle after a few washes.
The momentum pants I own have more belt loops than any other brand of pants/shorts in my closet. I’ve yet to experience an issue with quality in any of the materials of products I own, save for a pair of pants that had a hole in the pocket. They sent me a replacement pair no questions asked and told me to keep the other pair as well, if I wanted.

The belt loop thing caught me off guard because like you I see more. Then you factor in the materials and it’s in a ballpark the likes of very few brands. Millar comes to mind as an equivalent, but their bottoms aren’t as good as JO.

To think of how much apparel I get given to me and yet I’m still buying JO way too much 😂

It is a hill that I will die on, that the Momentum pants are the most comfortable I have ever owned. Quite literally perfect for everything. I wear them on the course, to work, to dinner dates with my wife, travel, etc. No other pants I own I can wear for literally everything and be comfortable, especially flying.

We are going to Game 1 of the NLDS tonight and I very well may wear them to that. Lol

I love all of them, but my favorite being Fusions.

You could also get the TB Cooperstown logo, that's sweet!

With the Fusion being a pull on short, do you find they fit similarly in the waist to the momentum pant? I would assume yes but never hurts to ask

I do actually. Once on, you dont even realize they are pull on. Just so good.

I'll look specifically for the Momentum pants. Most of everything I see is 4-belt-loop pants and shorts, and I am done with that! Even with a 32-inch waist, that's just too few. Nothing hangs right. 5 is marginal. 6 is better.

I have nine pairs of bottoms from this brand, not a single one has four loops. Maybe they exist? Do you have an example of one of the models so I know what to stay away from?

Most of mine have six, including the double in the back. Is it possible you’re getting this brand confused with another?

So I just looked online. Only the Momentum and Cross Country slacks have more than 5 belt loops, and they list at $138-$148. I can get Walter Hagen's slacks at half that price. For shorts, only the Jupiters and Nassau have 6 belt loops at $118 and $108, respectively.

I wondered that as well. So I looked online at different Johnnie-O pants and shorts, and the post directly above has what I found.

so there are none with 4 as you mentioned? I didn’t see any, but honestly, I assumed I was missing them and wanted to avoid.

I definitely wouldn’t compare these to Walter Hagen slacks, there’s nothing wrong with those, but they are in a completely other world material and finish Wise.

The Atlas pants have 8.

How do the JO hoodies progress in weight? Talon is a hooded tee. I want something more but not something heavy.

Remmy is a little heavier but still lightweight. Super soft as well.

All the Atlas pants I could find online have 5 belt loops. I think the point is we need to check before buying, because some have more and some have less.

Is there another slightly heavier?
The Hoppin is supposed to be a little heavier even though it says its lightweight

Sorry, Atlas has 6 (2 inch front, 2 on sides, and 2 in the back), it’s the Cross Country that has 8.

I wore a Hoppin today in 75° weather. It’s between lightweight and mid weight. Not talon lightweight
