For New Year’s week I was invited to head over to Kiawah Island and play the Ocean course. It was cold but a really great time. Here are some pics of the day.

Love the pictures! Thanks!

Awesome. It is on the list to play. Just haven't pulled the trigger yet. Looks great!

Your last picture over the water, I believe that is the par 3 16th or 17th. When I played there a couple of years ago there was hardly any water, believe it or not.

Thanks for sharing

Great pictures! Always interesting to see famous courses without fans. Surprised they allow walking without caddies or is that because its off season?

Played it a couple years a go, fantastic place.

Nice pics. I hope you had a great time!

One of my favorite courses. Always a fun day.

Thanks for the great pictures. This is my top USA bucket list course.

Great pics!

The other thing I remember was how many smaller gators there were.

One day I will play there.

Very nice!

Thanks for sharing I am sure it was a blast.

I as about to call out the lack of a picture of 17, but last one resolved that!

Great pics of just a incredible experience. A great 18 holes of golf!

Love that place. Been a while since back. Scariest encounter I ever had happened there. 17th par 3 we played the back tees to reimagine Mark Calc's right turn shot there. So we took the path out to right. In Cart buddie driving. Weeds were 4 feet tall so not much visibility. Come around corner and about hit a massive gator. Like a 12 footer. He literally jumped up in air. And scooted off. We both about crapped our pants.

Beautiful!

Unofficial THP gathering anyone?

Even in the off season it's a beauty.
