In all the years I've played I've had dozens of pitch mark repair tools. Recently, having left my repair tool in my locker, I started using my pocket knife. With it's wider-than-a-forked-tool blade, it's incredibly effective. Any greenskeepers, golf agronomists, or folks with a rationed opinion care to comment on the effects of using my knife? I'm going to carry it anyways. Maybe I can lighten my loadout by a few grams and not carry a specialized tool also.

I actually had a little gerber lock blade that I didn’t use. I took and grinded down the blade and now it’s a great tool.
