Interesting. Is he going to try to come back to PGAT?
If so, he has to sit out all of 2026.

Can he? Because he didn’t leave to step away from golf, it says to be closer to home. Wonder how much of his signing bonus he has to give back too
I wouldn't be surprised. I dont think he really wanted to leave.

In an interview he said he called his mom after signing and cried because he never had to worry about money ever again. Also said he was 32 and coming off surgery, it was the right move. Never wrong to change your mind but he seemed comfortable with the decision at that time.
I get the money aspect of it. I know he also mentioned the recovery time and feeling like he didn't/couldn't with the PGA schedule requirements.
For a second I thought we all got Gooch'd. This is interesting, but not so much about Koepka who hasn't really performed extremely well in the majors since he's left. Just curious how the PGA handles it.

Thank you. I really haven't been following him that closely, I didn't realize he was doing that well.
Feels like some other players will be watching carefully to see if/how he works with the PGAT to get back there. I don’t think he’ll be the last to move back

No he was in the Open zone so he was safe for 2026. Also as captain he wasn't close to relegation.
Smash GC will be fine, they still have the most dominant golfer of all time
