Still a nightmare for someone who calls Florida home.but from a proximity perspective, the back to backs are not crazy travel IMO.
He did it while he was starting on the Euro tour and also lets not pretend these guys are flying commercial with the rest of the public. Their flights are a non issue with how they travel.Still a nightmare for someone who calls Florida home.
He had no wife and kids when he was on euro tour, not sure how that is relevant. He did it while he was starting on the Euro tour and also lets not pretend these guys are flying commercial with the rest of the public. Their flights are a non issue with how they travel.
The travel part is what is relevant. The family thing is an excuse IMO but he's free to do what he wants. He had no wife and kids when he was on euro tour, not sure how that is relevant.
It’s pretty simple, he has zero flexibility with LIV schedule, and maybe he wants that now with a family.
Iam saying you have , Players who , play on PGA tour .. and I would imagine not to the degree now but historically … who’s gone there and played and not had supports Brooks had .What other tour travels the world every few weeks?
Might have been but that reason isn’t really a cop out, although his wife made that public.Family was a cop out.
Im sorry im not really sure what point you are trying to get across in your post. I’m also not sure what his reasoning has to do with any other player, US or international.Iam saying you have , Players who , play on PGA tour .. and I would imagine not to the degree now but historically … who’s gone there and played and not had supports Brooks had .
It’s entirely different for a Overseas player , who would qualify for The Tour , to relocate and live in US etc learn culture and build networks etc
Than it is for someone whose born in US and plays …
Australians have played and continue to play different tours and travel all over the world albeit for smaller value purses
In his case he has no shortage of money or capacity … in my view l don’t think it’s , equatable, his reasoning ( if correct ) compared to a broader view .
I get why he did. He thought his body was broken and wanted a final cash in. I would have as well.Might have been but that reason isn’t really a cop out, although his wife made that public.
Just be real Brooks and state I should have never ran for the money.
He reportedly got paid $100M to go to LIV. I'd never apologize or say I shouldn't have done that.Might have been but that reason isn’t really a cop out, although his wife made that public.

I think that the distance issue,Im sorry im not really sure what point you are trying to get across in your post. I’m also not sure what his reasoning has to do with any other player, US or international.
For the sake of golf, I hope they don’t reinstate him. If they do, nothing good comes of it. The only way we get positives out of this is if there is an agreement between tours that doesn’t force players to declare which they play for.I hope they reinstate him, if only to see Chamblee and Eamon Lynch lose their minds over it.
Then don’t make up some excuse when you want to comeback. He reportedly got paid $100M to go to LIV. I'd never apologize or say I shouldn't have done that.
There it is, I found it!I get why he did. He thought his body was broken and wanted a final cash in. I would have as well.
There’s never been a league like LIV, worldwide travel that offers zero flexibility and you need to play in every event, in addition to the majors he wants to play in. I think you are severely undervaluing his score on your scale. It’s ok for us to agree to disagree.I think that the distance issue,
Imagine a scale 0-10
And for him is 2-3 rating , but he’s using it as leverage to parachute out , as it were .
For other the reality is 7-8 bigger distance and more frequency ,, but they cope and continue .
If that made sense
No need to kill something that's already dead.I didn't say they don't need him. My point was him leaving isn't the big deal or "death blow" many are claiming it to be.
Its been said since they started that they were dead, yet here we are looking forward to another season. No need to kill something that's already dead.
Starting the sixth season in a couple weeks. Not bad for something that was never gonna work from the beginningIts been said since they started that they were dead, yet here we are looking forward to another season.
Or if you listen to some, has one foot in the grave because Brooks left.Starting the sixth season in a couple weeks. Not bad for something that was never gonna work from the beginning
lol those that feel that way don’t really feel that way because of Brooks. We both know thatOr if you listen to some, has one foot in the grave because Brooks left.
The entire world is a mess, not just sports.Yeah I don’t wish that situation on anyone and had to be extremely difficult with.
The entire issue is beyond Koepka and both LIV and PGA to find a way to exist together.
The entirety of sports in general is a mess.
How good is Koepka right now? I just looked at last year and he finished 31st on the individual list on LIV. He had a 2nd place and a T2 then a bunch of mid finishes. Missed cuts at the Masters and PGA with a T12 at US Open and T45 at the Open Championship.
I don’t know if he is healthy and I know he has had his up and downs before. If healthy and motivated may show up and win a major. I don’t think he moves the needle on a weekly basis if he is back on the PGA Tour based on his form from last year.
