Last Time You Tried a Completely Different Grip?

It's been quite awhile (years) for me. The Lamkin Sonar Tours I have are so durable and I love the feel of them.

When is the last time you tried a completely different brand or style of grip?
Swing grips, not putter grips.
I have 4 different grips on my clubs right now. Trying everything that has cords.

I just put on

Elite Y360 Air - Standard 40 - gram weight
Grip One Max Feel Lite - Standard - 37 gram weight

For science,

It’s been awhile but I have a set of the WMX Grips waiting to install.

I just regripped about a month ago. I was using GP CPX2 pro and went to Super Stroke Revel. So far, they have been excellent and i am liking the firmer grip.

Totally skimmed. I try new grips all the time. I think I have 3 in my bag right now.

Late July, dove in head first and swapped my mix of Crosslines and Tour Velvets for WellMXS Supers. It was a leap of faith based on feedback here that paid off great, I love the Supers.

During the spring I tried a bunch of softener grips to help with my hand fatigue. The TT Icons are really good and offer all I needed but I found the SuperStroke REVL Comfort grips were a touch better and that’s what I have now

Switched to the SS Element 4x right after they came out. I’d played CP2 Wrap for 5 years or so.

WellMXS was too slippery? Interesting!

What did you go to that you felt was grippier?
Winn Dri-Tac 2.0 oversized
Been using Winn grips for years, maybe I'm just too used to them to change.

Icons earlier this year. Felt great. Worked... dyed my hands, gloves, and shorts black.

The last grip I tried was the Gripmaster Roo sewn midsize. They are now on all my clubs from driver to Lob wedge.

I ordered my Mini driver shaft with the Golf Pride Align. It was nice. I'd use it. I'm not picky about grips.

Few months ago, got the SuperStroke 2.0

I really like that I don't have to add a second wrap for my bottom hand.

Golf Pride MCC Plus4 reduced taper grips to allow shortening the club as needed six weeks ago.

Right now. The used Callaway Superhybrid has some uber-soft wrap type grip on it. It’s very different from the Larkin Crosslines I’ve played forever. It is an acquired taste for me.

Are these in the high end price range? 👀

I've tried a bunch of new Super Stroke grips this year - they've become sort of my standard bearer since the Lamkin aquisition.

Earlier this year when I bought a set of 3DP Tour heads I put a set of Superstroke REVL Comfort grips on the set of DART shafts I used. I really like the REVL grips but after ~20 rounds I sold the 3DP Tours. Next year I will buy a set of 13 for future use. They felt really good.

Last year when I switched to JumboMax grips. I did hit a club with a Lizard Skin grip the other day too.

I tested the Icon grips earlier this year, liked them but ended up going back to a Plus4

oh nay nay. I think the last time was getting a hybrid shaft on either here or eBay, I forget, that had a WMX midsize (ai think it was mid size). I like my GP MCC for the conditions I often play in. Just the odd summer round in the South that I occasionally have an issue

Last time was a month or two ago and grip was the TT Icon, which I quite like.

Welcome to the club. Hands down best grips money can buy.

I went with the CP2 comfort grip in December.
I really need to branch out as now I’m in CP2 pro
