Let’s See Those Holiday Decorations

We have the real tree in in the back family room. I mentioned to the wife about maybe getting a fiber optic or led tree for the front room rather have to keep getting and decorating 2 trees every year. This wasn’t quite what I had in mind LOL. She likes em thoigh.

My wife talked me into buying a real tree this year. I’m 39 and never had a real one before!

The only time I've had a real tree was when I was a kid and we went to my Grandmother's in New Brunswick for Christmas. I'll never forget it, it was decorated and after Gram went to church my aunt and uncle took the tinsel off one piece at a time, redecorated the entire tree and put all the tinsel back. OCD before OCD was in fashion

I am loving all the decorations! This is my favorite time of the year!!

Already posted my trees a week or two ago but I finally did the outside lights tonight. Not my best work this year but it will do!

Got the lights put up a few weeks back. First year that we had someone do them for us. Wife didn't want me up in the roof any more and I am fine with that. She has also started the trees and decorations inside as well. As soon as our daughters birthday and Thanksgiving is done, all the decorations come down from the garage attic.




We also just got a projector to put up some snowflakes for the dark part of the house. Not 100% sold on it yet, still kinda dark there.

Love them. Keep them up all year long - LED strip lights set under gutters and eves. Never have to take them down and use them year round….

it has a little remote to trigger it. It alternates between the main theme and the Imperial march.

I'm really debating on nixing the angel on the top of the tree and going in that direction! That's awesome!

It's actually really nice to have up. Rented a lift when I put them up and took about 4 hours to do it all. Every once in a while I have to fix something or replace a connector but overall super slick and easy. Wife would rather have the icicle lights all over the house, but I'd rather not die trying to put them up. so I win.
