Light Bulbs vs Dark Suckers

The toothbrush and dinosaur threads reminded me of another, irrefutable but long suppressed theory:

Light bulbs are not light emitters. They are dark suckers.

Think about it. When you replace a “ burned out” bulb, what does it look like? It has a dark spot on it. That’s because it’s all full of dark. It can’t hold any more.
