I game the Jailbird Mini, and love the DW, so the S2S in both shapes will get some rolls this winter

In the last few days I've bought a Ogio backpack, a Travis Mathew hoodie (yesterday) and now a Travis Polo.... all because of these guys


and I keep thinking we haven't even gotten to the * redacted * clubs I will most certainly buy. This event is killing me....in the best possible way, but still.

I have a lot of reasons why I lost my matches in The Grandaddy and Morgan Cup and to @Jtubb17, etc. but none of them were equipment and all are just versions of, “I didn’t play my best.”

I also have won some matches with some great scores and the reasons all boil down to, “I played well.”

Both teams are going out with great equipment today and some will play well and some won’t. That is golf and I am here to watch it all unfold. My Hideaway shirt is on and a full cup of coffee is in my hand (or is it, @ddec? 🤣).

For me it's the fairways. So much noise about them in testing and during the first round has me really curious. It's also one of the few clubs I have that isn't Callaway, yet.

I've got to go with the golf ball, as well. Some of the early reactions really caught my attention and have me intrigued (and impatient)!

The greens are still rock hard from being redone so nothing was holding, So still that piece is a little TBD.

I think the biggest thing is to look at this for what it is....an experience. An experience that anytime you talk about it makes people jealous whether you win or lose. I have talked to a lot of folks that have been and the excitement they have talking about it years later makes everyone involved a winner.

I know he didn't and neither did I. It all started because i said that THP faces tougher sledding to win the match all things considered.

People take these things as too binary, like we're saying you wouldn't want to go or it's too much pressure or etc. Or having to post during your round would make you not want to do it.....Of course not. Anyone would love to be part of it.

hahaha, hell yeah they do.

It's just such a bigger than golf thing. Takes about five minutes to realize that these folks absolutely care what you think and what you play and where you're from and what you're into etc etc etc... And then you get on this beautiful golf course and you can tell everyone wants to win but you also celebrate the great shots while they ask you about the product their work lives revolve around, and what you think of it.

and then you look into the other cart and it's an incredible member of the Hideaway who is passionate about this thing we do once a year, who has owned the world in their own right yet is totally invested in our thing and wants to know who you are and what your story is.

It's just.. different.
 
Morning THP! Guess what day it is!! It’s MFing Singles Day at The Grandaddy of them all. I can’t wait to share the day with @Cruskater @AlexUpeguiCG and my guy @AT_CG . Team THP are gonna fight our tails off but most importantly, fun will be had, drinks will be drank and memories with friends to last a lifetime will be made.
