Wasn't able to follow along live yesterday, but I did a power read late into the night and early this morning to catch up.

Congrats to @JasonFinleyCG and the entire Callaway team on the win. Not the outcome we were all hoping for, but the generousity, love and committment to the Grandaddy goes far beyond any words that may be said. Thank you for everything you do for this website not just during the Grandaddy, but the entire year. I hope to meet you all one day.

You all absolutely crushed it - it was your dedication, enthusiam, committment, humbleness, and appreciation that will give another team of hackers a chance to experience the Grandaddy. @outlawx, the on course videos were amazing. Really enjoyed them.

@Dougie way to earn the half point against the assasian @callmedaddy. What a back and forth battle for the entire 18 holes.

@jlew Thank you for keeping this group sane all year. Your calm and cool demeanor kept the group lose and ready to go. Congrats on the win against Darth Finley.

@Cruskater we need to get together for a round once the dreary winter is over (BTW, it's ******* cold here now, I hope you enjoyed the nice weather the past week) We can make it a couples day with my wife @jaywyedee and @Golfgirlguru. Hit me anytime if you're interested. I'd love to pick your brain on the event.

Because the Ass Cap is awesome?
Honestly? this was a different kind of year. We hand selected Matt Wood to honor what he did for this event, making it possible, etc. To do that, we needed a captain that had been through it before and could handle it all. @jlew was amazing.

But it's also a lot of work. So next year, a new captain will be selected and an Ass Cap from a previous team will be selected to help guide them.

Love hearing that there is already planing for next year. Good luck to all; there are so many worthy of both positions. 2025 Grandaddy contests, the captain, and ass cap selections would be the highlight of another fantastic year once again.

Oh man, at the airport about to head back home from what was an unbelievable few days with an incredible group of people. Going to take some time to decompress and reflect on the whole experience, but huge thank you to the entire Callaway team for all the time and effort put into organizing everything for a bunch of regular, everyday golf nerds, and the Hideaway members for hosting us at their beautiful course for two days.

And thanks to all of THP for following along over the last few days. Appreciate all the love and support for the GD11 crew!
