Lengthy review, but to answer your question, the vibe stays pretty consistent. A bunch of guys with crazy anticipation to experience the greatest amateur event in the world. Simple as that. I'm lucky to go back to the hideaway once a year and it's always special and always amazing to see old faces and meet new ones. I'm still digesting the Pete Dye redo. It's simply incredible. There are parts of a lot of holes that were dramatic improvements so it's tough to narrow it to one, but I loved what they did with #3 on the Pete around the green. My favorite shot/hole was my drive in 17 Clive day 1 which led to a 7 iron in and eagle to put @KY Golfer and I1up and dormie

I’m surprised how those things keep the spin consistent across the face. I played with some higher caps and I saw one banana ball off the tee. That’s insanely good. There were a lot of pulls and pushes but generally that didn’t result in off the planet side spin
I “tested out” the high toe miss a few times and the distance it held compared to my paradym was pretty shocking.
