Is that truly an option on the UWs and will Callaway do it on a new build?

I believe @Jeff Spicoli might have been through this in the past specifically with loft because certain loft not available.

Man, that's brave! Last year for a golf trip I ended up stashing my winter coat in my golf travel cover once I got to the airport. Worked out well to free up space and give the clubs even more protection.

Haha, i've become an expert at this over the years traveling for work to like Florida and Arizona from MTL in Feb.

You're doing it right....Pants and a hoodie. If it's a little cooler (like below freezing) i'll wear another long sleeve shirt under the hoodie.

BTW, Carlsbad in December can get a bit chilly at night so don't hesitate to bring some long sleeve shirts. It can pretty easily get below 60F at night (15C IIRC)

If you're on tour i'm sure you can get a lot of stuff haha. Fun story, when i was there in 2017 they had a couple of staff bags full of discarded Mickelson "experiments" , basically clubs he had them modify in some way that never ended up being used.

One of them was an early proto of the full face wedge, where Phil had supposedly cut a piece off another wedge, and welded it to an existing wedge. IIRC they told he had done this himself, but it may have meant "his people"

Tour players get what they want. Some of those turn into real releases, right? Think about when Phil was playing 2 drivers and one was the Frankendriver or whatever. Isn't that basically a mini driver these days?

I can't recall if Phil used the original "phrankenwood" much, i have held that club in my hands though!!!!

He used a blacked out rocketballz lofted to 11 degrees, while Callaway was making the original 3deep for him IIRC

But there definitely is a prototype "Phrankenwood" that existed at Callaway and was never released to the public. I can't recall how much Phil actually used that in tournaments
 
I'm picking Team Callaway for the win.

Why? Because the team I pick, for whatever event, never wins. :)

Forecasted temp is 5 degrees F when I get to the airport :ROFLMAO: but covered parking is super cheap since it's regional, and while I normally surface lot it, I'm making the exception for the MF Grandaddy. Callaway has us very well taken care of with the scripting and layers, which is wonderful of them, for long sleeves. Liquid jacket will be in full force for The Nest...and if I am being honest, 50s-60s will feel like t- shirt weather after leaving Wisconsin currently hahah
 
I remember the last couple of days before leaving and it felt like time stood still. I had to occupy myself with stuff just to make time go by faster.

I can’t wait to see the next version of The Grandaddy unfold

no it got a hard stop after talking about shorts... we are all together and ready just chilling out a little bit (as much as possible) before everything gets wild... I expect non-stop from Monday for a couple of weeks
