CONTEST Live Update Thread: The 2022 Grandaddy of Em All with Callaway Golf

That's why I wanted him to grab me one. It's something I regret not having so I asked him to pick one up for me. It will be making it's rounds to my 21 team next year.
That's a cool way to get to all the folks and reconnect (unless you are shipping it around).. Reunion tour

Smart. If I was lucky enough to be chosen for a Team event I would definitely be doing that for a keepsake and the memories.

We had a reunion this year and I got a flag signed then too :) I'll almost certainly be missing the one they do this year though so this will have to be mailed

What if we have it in Montana, you gonna not show up then?

I didn't realize until going through it myself yesterday that @JasonFinleyCG and @JohnnyRodCG dropped 4 natural birdies (one was Johnny dropping a birdie on top of Jason's) in the first 7 holes. And we still kept it tight. It's just so hard to beat that!
We did have to play good for sure - you guys had us worried on that front nine.

The annual reunion is a great idea for sure. Sad you won't get to go this year though (unless it's because of your AssCap duties, then -- yep, good reason to miss )

Do it. You won't

I've begged my boss every other week for months to send me to Montana for some projects. One of these days she's gonna cave.

Might want to put that off...

Haha. I meant closer to the spring/summer. The way my company is rolling we'll keep opening offices out there.

Point being I'd love to play golf with the Asscap again this year, our round at Caledonia got cut short. But he seems to be limited on the number of trips he's allowed. It's like he likes his job or likes being married.

Old Works would be fun.

Since most of you guys seem to be up and at em, curious if anyone other than @PackersGirl had some time at their fitting with the Great Big Bertha driver/fairways/hybrids? After reading @Jman's write up I was definitely expecting to see some more of this line, or is *REDACTED* just too good?
Wish I did but I did not get a chance to hit any of the GBB stuff.

Just to be clear here.....I BOMB'D a NEW driver and only had 50 yards in.....I stuffed the wedge into the ground (ball went 8.5 yards) and had to hear @JasonFinleyCG tell me "Way to utilize your POPS"....followed by dropping the 41.5 yard shot in the hole for a 3.....Net 2 :)

It's called Team Work bro.....Jason knew I needed a little PICK me UP.

That and Budget Champ will have filled my golf trip quota for the year. Or like @Nappy said, I would be jobless or wifeless after

I love you man!

Something crazy that I just noticed. At the beginning of November there was a reaction score to post count ratio thread; how many reactions per post. I commented in that thread on Nov 3rd that my ratio was about 0.5, or I had half as many reactions to my posts as I did total post count. At that time I probably had a little over 15k posts, so about 7500 reactions.

After the Grandaddy? I now have 16,080 posts (before this one) and 16,194 reactions. That means the Grandaddy probably brought me around 8500 more reactions to my posts. That is insane.

I don't say this to brag. I bring it up because it's another testament to all of you following along, engaging with us, and giving us your support while we were having the time of our lives. It's been said several times, but it bears repeating.

THANK YOU to all of you for being behind us throughout the event week and the lead up. It honestly means a lot.

Stop trying to get more reactions bro!

Straight off the bus and the man is still walking with his coffee...Best place on earth indeed
That's a man who has his priorities straight!

Anyone else curious what shoes they got or just me?
I got the moneymakers and love them. I was also able to snag a blue pair on Black Friday for $62 so now I've got two pairs and they're great.
