At THP, we believe that testing should be done not only by us, but also by golfers just like you. One of the cool features about being an active member of the THP Forum is that we look to you guys/gals, the consumers, to give feedback on equipment to golfers all around the world. Each month we send out iron sets, drivers, hybrids, putters, trainings aids and golf balls to our active members to be a part of the THP Forum Member testing. So, who wants to be involved with one of the coolest tests out there, getting a chance to test out a grip before it is available?

WMX Hyper+ Midsize and Hyper+ Jumbo Grips

It is not often you get a chance to try a product before it hits stores. We are looking for testers that currently play larger than standard size grips and might even prefer something with less taper.

There are two models to choose from and your feedback is crucial to help educate those looking for what might be, the best swing grips made for durability and performance.

Quick Note – The texture on the Hyper+ runs full length and is 360, which was influenced from THP feedback from previous testing.

Criteria

We will select a group of 5 THPers to join our forum leader to be a part of this. If selected you will get a rundown prior to ordering of the posting and review expectations. If you have questions beforehand, do not hesitate to ask below.

You must be able to check in on the forum thread daily (or close to it) to discuss and answer questions.

Please note: You will be reviewing the grips for a period of one full month. If you cannot commit to this length of testing please do not signup.

How to Signup to Test

Comment below and follow these instructions.
Step 1 – What grips do you currently play?
Step 2 – Have you tried WMX grips yet?
Step 3 – What size grips do you use?

You must apply by end of day Thursday December 18th, 2025
We will announce the testers on Friday, December 19th, on the THP Forum.

I'll throw my hat in the ring
1: Lamkin Crossline 360 and GP Tour Velvet
2: I have not, but I really want to. Just haven't pulled the trigger yet.
3: Midsize

Incredible opportunity - absolutely love my WellMXS grips!

Looking forward to the forum feedback on these. I’m a standard grip guy so I’m a spectator. Good luck all!

Great testing opportunity. Love the WellMXS grips on my clubs. Can't wait to hear how others feel about them.

A lot of great things said about this company here, I’ll be interested to see how these new grips do for testers!

Pre release testing. 😍

Will be following along. Play JMX xs and have been moving to a slightly smaller size so they all fit in a carry bag.

Oh man the Hyper+ Midsize looks perfect since I really like the Midsize +4 min right now! But it’s a frozen hellscape here and I don’t think I’d be able to give these the attention they deserve right now. Looking forward to seeing feedback from others!

I'm in, I have seen a few things about them and am intrigued.
Currently play Golf Pride Tour Velvet Midsize
I have not tried them yet
Would like to try the Midsize or Hyper+ Midsize

I love the wellmxs and plan on getting a full set eventually! Will sit out on this one because I have never played midsized or jumbo grips! Good luck Everyone!

I have an original release midsize taper grip on my driver and I do love it. Those I've shown it to really like it as well. I like the idea of the non taper midsize, however, I may be changing irons after the first of the year and I will, more than likely, be changing the top of my bag as well. Since I don't know what clubs I may or may not have during this testing I'm going to leave these signups to those who are sure of the clubs in their bag.

I’m interested in testing!

Step 1 – What grips do you currently play?
- Golf Pride MCC+4
Step 2 – Have you tried WMX grips yet?
- Have never tried their grips
Step 3 – What size grips do you use?
- I use standard plus 4 BUT have had the issue of over drawing and hooking so have been looking into a larger size grip to try

This is a great opportunity. I would love to test these.

Step 1 – What grips do you currently play? I currently play Lamkin Crossline Oversize grips
Step 2 – Have you tried WMX grips yet? I have not as I like large grips and I cannot lie....
Step 3 – What size grips do you use? I use oversize or jumbo grips

Great opportunity!

Oh! What a fantastic opportunity to test and that they are coming up with these options! Especially the Hyper+ looks like just the thing I've been looking to get into.

Step 1 – What grips do you currently play?
- Golf Pride MCC+4
Step 2 – Have you tried WMX grips yet?
- I have the standard Super in my driver and absolutely love it!
Step 3 – What size grips do you use?
- I use standard +4's, but have been pondering going to midsize +4's next.

I'm a WellMXS fan, these aren't the grips for me but anyone who is curious should jump in with both feet

I wish my outdoor season wasn't over, all I have now is indoor season.
The Hyper+ Jumbo sounds very interesting.

Awesome testing opportunity here! We e heard rave reviews so far about WellMXS grips! Good luck everyone!

Pre release testing is always so awesome to hear

Pre release testing is always so awesome to hear
especially if people read the entire first post, and realize their feedback changed the product

I've tried WellMX grips they were alright just a little skinny midsize might address that. I'm not positive I would get along with a midsize +4.

I'm not going to throw my name in the hat but I do hope that one of the Ohio contingent gets selected for testing so I can see them in person.

That's why any testing for the next few months is sim or home only

If I have learned one thing here, its to ALWAYS read the full first post. That and never answer the question being asked
