ANNOUNCEMENT Looking For Testers – Vortex Rangefinders

Great opportunity, but I don't think I'll be playing more than 2-3 times between now and April so I'm out. Good luck everyone.

This would be great, and give me a reason to finish the season strong. I thought I may be done, but this would give me another great reason to get out for the next month or so. We've been having mild falls / winters up north recently, so if that trend continues I can easily get out for another month.

Step 1 – Tell us what laser or GPS unit you currently use ShotScope X5 is my current.
Step 2 – Tell us how often you play - Usually about once a week, more when I was testing earlier this year or preparing for something.
Step 3 – What Features matter most, not including accuracy? Slope for me, my watch tells me a distance but not a plays as - which is something I'm always wanting to know and while 3-5 yards isn't a big deal I play with hills and a lot of elevation change. Optical quality and clarity are also huge.

Wow killer opportunity here! Good luck to everyone that enters

One of the best rangefinders I've ever used, if yours is a few years old or you need one in general, you cannot go wrong with a Vortex.

What a great opportunity for 6 people. The reviews on these have been excellent.

Currently use a Shot Scope Pro LX rangefinder and a X5 GPS watch
I play minimum once per week. Most weeks it's one full 18 and a couple 9s.
One of the bigger features for me is speed or some kind of stabilization. My hands shake really badly when I am playing so it's hard to lock on pins and I get all kinds of conflicting yardages.
I have the Pro LX and the Vortex Anarch. I was using them both this weekend. The Pro LX is a really good rangefinder but you can really notice how much more it shakes than the Anarch and I don’t have rhe issue with shaky hands. I think you would really like the benefit of the image stabilization.

I have been researching range finders recently and could definitely use a new one.

Step 1 – I am currently using and old Bushnell. Not sure of which model it is but it is stripped bare. Just distance with no frills.
Step 2 – I play 2-3 times a week
Step 3 – Ease of locating and locking on a pin, easy to read and a magnet. I walk and carry frequently so I would prefer it isn’t super big/heavy. I have never used a range finder with slope so I would be interested in trying that. I haven’t gotten a range finders in 6-8 years so I am not sure if there are other features I would like.

Such a fantastic product and company. I already have one so I'm gonna pass, but I can't wait to read what others think about these!

The Anarch is going to be a little heavier though not by a lot but the shape is not big/bulky feeling. To me the extra weight is because it just feels really well made and durable.

Comment below and follow these instructions.
Step 1 – Tell us what laser or GPS unit you currently use. I have an old range finder but it is not very accurate when it comes to pin yardages, so I virtually always use only the ShotScope X5 watch. But also having a rangefinder to lock in exact yardages when needed is something my game is missing.
Step 2 – Tell us how often you play? Weekly, minimum, + several weekly visits to the range.
Step 3 – What Features matter most, not including accuracy? Probably Pin Lock, since I have an old rangefinder and I find it can give me different yardages with a shake of the hand.

Such an awesome opportunity!

Step 1 – Shot Scope Pro Zr
Step 2 – I try to play 2-4 times per week
Step 3 – Optical clarity, build quality, and imagine stabilization are three important features for me.

Everyone raves about Vortex rangefinders, so I have to throw in for this one and hopefully find out:
  • Currently using Voice Caddie Laser Fit rangefinder.
  • I play 2-3 times a week.
  • Other than accuracy -
    • Clear, stable images. I use a rangefinder not only to get distance and aimpoints, but also to get an idea of pin placement and what's around it - especially on courses I've never played.
    • Slope. Living in Appalachia, I play a lot of courses that have numerous elevation changes...slope is a must for non-competitive rounds.

Nice testing opportunity here. Not enough time left in my season here to do a complete and thorough testing.

Great opportunity to test what appears to be a cool product.

#1 - Currently using a Bushnell Pro X3
#2 - I play 1-2 times per week, practice sessions 1-2 times per week where I also use the rangefinder extensively
#3 - Vibrant and clear optics, ability to quickly/accurately shoot flags and objects (often use for distances to trees, bunkers, contours, etc.), and ergonomics (holding, pointing, etc.).

What a fantastic opportunity! I wouldn't mind entering to flex the review muscles ahead of the coming year, but there's always the possibility the weather flips on a dime up here and my prep work moves indoors.

Great opportunity here for 6 folks!

Absolutely LOVE my Anarch rangefinder. Far and away the best I've ever used.

Good luck to those entering this.

I have the Anarch and it's amazing. A fast, accurate, precision tool for the golf course.

Amazing opportunity everyone should be trying for, these rangefinders are so good. Good luck to all of you.

Step 1 – Shot Scope ZR
Step 2 – Weekly
Step 3 – Speed & Capture

Awesome opportunity!!!

Sign up sign up sign up! Don't want to miss this one! Happy purchaser of the Anarch and love it every time I tee it up!

Great opportunity, would enter if I hadn't already purchased my blade.

Step 1 – Tell us what laser or GPS unit you currently use: Shot Scope Pro L2
Step 2 – Tell us how often you play: Once per week
Step 3 – What Features matter most, not including accuracy? Scan mode sounds super useful to get a quick, accurate distance objects or targets other than the flagstick.

1. Precision pro nx10
2. Once a week
3. Pin lock. The nx10 is pretty bad about giving me a buzz with a distance to something behind the pin

Another awesome opportunity

1. Currently use a combination of 18 birdies on my phone and watch

2. About 2-3 times a month

3. Capturing the pin and for me optical stabilization as I don’t have the most steady hands.

I wish our season wasn’t coming to a close as I’d love some time with one of these. Good luck to all!
