Looking to play with THPers while in Raleigh/Pinehurst

I'd be interested. I'll take a look at the dates

I mentioned it to @jpgolf who lives east of Charlotte. He can chime in if interested.

I know it’s a bit of a hike for @Browndog, but it’s Pinehurst!

I will try and get 2 tee times.

I will also post the cost once we know which course.

I should be good and I will just head to Roanoke after the round for Sunday before the event
Thats what I’m doing. Should be a nice round, grab some dinner, get some rest and ride up to Roanoke.

The gathering last year was such a blast! I hope this all works out smoothly for everyone to meet up again. I love the Pinehurst area and I'm really looking forward to the opportunity to go back!

One of my favorite places on earth.

If you want in, looks like we got a spot.

Is there a location picked? I’m coming from Raleigh so just wanted to see what I’m committing to.

I am going to see what I can get at Pinehurst, but cannot do that until we are in the 30-day window.

We played 3 last time, so I will try to get a different course this time. By the end of April, everything will be green and beautiful!

Definitely, thank you for doing that. Totally understand nothing is guaranteed if it falls out of our control. We’ll look at some other local options at that point, maybe some of the lesser known local courses. There’s southern pines, mid pines, and pine needles depending on everyone’s budget too.

Those will all be fairly expensive that time of year. But, there is also Mid South, Talamore, Hyland and Longleaf (I heard Legacy is undergoing renovation and half the holes are closed, but I don't know when that will be done).

If it doesn't work out or it's too much of a hassle, plenty of other options around.

My home course certainly isn't Pinehurst, but that can be a fallback if needed.

It's in Holly Springs for those that don't know.

Pretty good options there. We’ll see where we stand at the 30 day mark and make the call.

If it's that one with the slope rating of 1 million I am hitting pinnacles and I won't be judged.

Thankfully not. I'm at a different course now. The old one made me want to quit golf a few times.

If @e1iterate course was carnage and your old course was a higher slope rating I'd be in the fetal position at the turn
