Looking to play with THPers while in Raleigh/Pinehurst

@Jeff Spicoli where you at now?
Devil's Ridge
If @e1iterate course was carnage and your old course was a higher slope rating I'd be in the fetal position at the turn
It's difficult for the sake of being difficult. Nothing interesting or unique about it. I never played the course when the greens were bent grass. If the greens were bent grass and you could hold or spin pitch shots it would be more playable, but with the greens being super-fast and firm, there's effectively very small landing areas on each green if you want to keep it on the green. If you miss the green on the wrong side after a decent shot, double comes into play immediately.

Sounds like NOT my type of course 😂

I’m in if we can make a tee time either for the morning or before lunch
I think we were shooting for lunch or 1 so those of us driving from Savannah and south GA could make it.

Yessir. Thanks for letting me be a part of it. Hope I don't embarrass myself too bad. Lol. Especially after I played today
The way I see it, it does not matter how good you are if you are out there keeping up and enjoying yourself!

Amen to that. Thanks to you and @K.P. for your efforts and I’m looking forward to meeting y’all and having a great time.

100% agree, and it’s always better with a group of THPers.

You’ll do just fine.

Only a couple of more days until we hit the 30 day mark!

Yep! What is the current count? Are we at 10?

Looking forward!

Good morning, everyone!
I heard back, and we have tee times reserved!

Since it is 3 tee times, they squeezed us in such that we have 2 on the first tee and one on the 10th tee, but starting and finishing at the same time.
Date: Saturday, April 26th
Time: 1:40/1:50 (10th tee start)
Time: 1:50 PM (1st tee start)
Course: No. 8

Course 8 is always in great shape (my second favorite layout at Pinehurst) and was designed by Tom Fazio and has been designated as a Signature Sanctuary by the Audubon Society. It is not on the "main campus" as my wife likes to say (Courses 1-5), but we can always head back there after for putting at Thistle Dhu and dinner at the Duece.

You are the man. Do we need to pay you now or do we pay the course?

Let’s goo! Any idea how much it is to play #8? Can sell a finger or toe if needed 😂
