I was also thinking of something cool maybe pinehurst could consider in the future. Once they have 18 courses they need to make a 19th course that has the hole for each course (Hole 1 from course 1, Hole 2 from course 2…) - I need royalties.

Absolutely, let's circle back around next Spring and make a weekend of it. There's a lot of courses in that area on my bucket list.Yearly tradition!

Yeah man, I’m up for it. Haven’t played Tobacco Road since it was new and could use a revenge match at Tot Hill, not to mention the other great Pinehurst area courses.
I’m planning on making a one day trip in November to TR because the rates drop around then. Tee times are posted now. Hopefully it won’t be too cold.
Sign me up for that too! I played it last year when everything was dormant for $110 which is much easier to explain to the wife.
It’s $240 in November, and $119 in December. If December is playable, I could play it one weekend after the Grandaddy.

Definitely. That was where I originally targeted to play last month but no times were available.
So. 2 weeks after our get together on #8, I'm getting to play #1 tomorrow. This time for free..lol. My boss called me and said. can you get to pinehurst this week. I said "damn right I can"...lol. We are playing in a Sheetz outing and we were a sponsor. My welcome gift was a dozen TP5x. A hat, and a $100 gift card. Not bad for just showing up...lol.
Obviously the event is not a "Pinehurst" run event, with the TP5x balls. Pinehurst is all Titleist.
I hope the event is fun, it's a great day to be playing!
I really enjoyed #1. The greens seemed faster there which I enjoyed
The greens on 1 are generally a tad faster than the other courses. Last year in the fall after fully re-opening from the US Open, they were faster than the greens were on #2.
Are you still on-site? My wife is in the clubhouse and was told there is a shoot-out going on.
Closest to the pin from 150 yards out on 18 of #2 for $20k.

I just left. I had to get to raleigh. We hung around because we thought we were winning a prize. We came in 3rd in gross score. They only paid out 1st and 2nd
My wife said there were only maybe 10-12 players going for the CTP, but nobody hit the green. They guy who won was closest, but short and left.
Everyone that was in the tourney had their name in a bucket then 12 names were drawn to do it. Obviously the golf gods did not shine on me. Lol. Mike Golic was doing the commentary on it
Was able to get a tee time for 4 at Tobacco Road, Sunday November 2nd at 8:36am. I've got 3 open spots, fees are $268.51 per person. Anyone here want to join?
Hey K.P., count me in. I played it not too long after it opened. Be like playing a new course it’s been so long.
Sound great. I played it 2 years ago and it was a lot of fun.
