This is so sad to read, @MattyD-MPLS was always bringing something great to THP.

@leftygolfermn love the idea of something that continues on. As ideas come together and become baked would help out wherever I can as I am local.

Still processing this news and honestly, there are so many stories about Matt I wish I had the time to share. When I got selected for the Grandaddy, he called me that night to congratulate. He was the only Vikings fan who could lead two packers fans (@Nappy and @RealPretendPsychic) and make the rivalry fun every time they played. He did the same thing for college football with all the various Big Ten teams, which was the last post he tagged me in.

I only got to play with him one time, and of course it was a 40° windy spring day in Minnesota, but in a way only Matty could, he brought the warmth through his smiles and laughter. I still cant believe I won’t get the chance to do that again here, but I’m so thankful I got the chance to know him. RIP my friend.

This, and yearly health check ups. I never would have expected to have really high blood pressure at 42 but here I am. That’s one heart beat away from not being around.

Donation bump. As a father, this keeps hitting hard every day. I couldn't imagine how his family feels right now.

I've thought a great deal about Matt the last couple of days. Seeing a great deal of tragedy every now and then some situations stick with me a little. THP has become a family for me and it really sucks to lose someone. I never had a chance to meet him in person, just a few online interactions here. Minn. is a long travel for a golf tournament but I'm in if it materializes.
