21 Team is working on some stuff for and then later next month for the girls.
 
Oh no. This is heartbreaking I never had the opportunity to meet Matt but you feel like you get to know everyone here in the THP community. Horrible loss for his family and ours.

Not exactly the type of news that you ever want to hear but especially around the holidays. 😔
 
This doesn’t feel real… @MattyD-MPLS was the kindest person you could meet and the best captain we could’ve asked for. There are no words… 😢

Matty was one of my favorite participants and captains (zero offense to anyone else) in the GD.

Rip Matt. You were one of the most sincere THPers I've met and gotten to know. Always appreciated your insight and our conversations.

Got a quick story. Just because this is bumming me out so bad, I wanted to post something that made me smile. Matty was the most generous person on the planet, earlier this year he offered me tickets to Summerfest in Milwaukee because his company had given them to him and he couldn't use them. He was always doing this kind of stuff.

So when he was supporting via text and on the forum for the UST Finale last month, I got back and sent him a little UST/Shoveling Sunshine care package. He texted me right away when he got it. Said his youngest daughter stole the stickers I sent and put them on her water bottle. She's a Shoveling Sunshine fan, he said.

He was the best. The world needs more like him.
 
Damn, never met him but through his interactions here and the GD threads especially, he seemed like a genuinely good guy. How his team speaks about him is telling. RIP.

Man……that’s what makes this incredibly heartbreaking. This world needs all the Matt’s of the world we can get. A great man and father gone too soon.

Oh no!!!! This sucks. Matty was my partner at the Budget Championship at CDA. He was such a kind and great person and a hell of a golfer. Had so much fun with him and we made a run at it. I am shook....so incredibly sad. :(
