If you do any sort of cooking meat - grilling, smoking, baking, broiling, etc. The MEATER 2 Plus probes are a must have. Everything has turned out perfect since I bought them right before Christmas.

That is all!

been on my list to pick up for quite awhile and still haven't done it.

the built in recteq unit is functional enough i guess.

Have one. Can’t recommend enough

You have my attention...

How was the tenderloin?

The temperature is great for my recteq, but for nothing else. That is a main reason why I bought the meter was so I can have that same functionality everywhere.

I got the Meater “one” when it came out and the Meater 2 for Christmas. They both work, but the new one is definitely a worthwhile upgrade.

I have better connection to it and it can cook at higher temps.

The temperature issue was the reason why I never purchased the original. This one works really well.

And the pork tenderloin taste phenomenal!

I got both of mine for Christmas. But I only used the first one for slow cooking. This new one can take a lot more. It is really good.
