Forgive if a repeat and feel free to merge, a quick (real quick, went back to yesterday’s posts on this forum only) search didn’t turn anything up...

Please take a minute to remember what tomorrow is really all about. I always host this holiday for the family, it’s my turn. We always proudly fly the flag at this house, but this weekend is special. I also always tear ? up sometime this weekend.

Take a moment to remember those that have made the ultimate sacrifitice so that we can worry about silly stuff like our golf swing. Worrying about that sure beats the hell out of running for your life from the huns...

And please remember the families of our fallen heroes! They were someone's son/daughter, husband/wife, sister/brother. They are the unsung heroes that carry on. Never forget and NEVER TAKE ANYTHING FOR GRANTED!!!

On this day we give thanks to all that made the ultimate sacrifice that allows me and my family to live the life that we do. Specifically, at 3pm local time we will have a moment of silence and remember my dad’s best buddy from Vietnam. My father says that he wouldn’t have made it back from the war had he not met this man and fellow forward observer in the 5th Cavalry. Thank you sir, for your sacrifice.
