Anyone else do metal-art, metalworking?

I just made this for a co-worker's husband, as he thought my annual guy's weekend trophy was a good idea and wants to start the tradition with his golfing buddies.

I've also done stuff from horseshoes and scrap

I don’t but I appreciate it. That’s fun stuff.

Did one with a ball on a tee today too. I think I'll paint the ball white before I clear coat it

Nice!!! The railroad spike golfers would make for some wicked tee markers.

Haha... love the little golfer guy. That's pretty cool.

I did alot of fabrication work back in the day. Roll cages, a arms for cars and quads, sand car chassis etc. But never anything artistic like that.

Love it. Wish I had the creativity.

The only education cert or diploma or anything I have in my office at work is my welding cert from a community college, LOL.

My couterpart has his degrees, awards from different societies, etc.

I have a cousin who does unbelievable metalworking. It's a blast to see what creations he's done and I feel much the same about the OPs work!

Creativity level 5,000!!! Nice!

So you're hand cutting all of that? or using a waterjet?

Plasma cutter.

I do stuff like the golf trophy cutting with an angle grinder though.
Right on. That's awesome man. I was admiring the Bass. :D

I put the stuff in place to do it but i don’t know if I ever will get around to it. I loved screwing around in the old maintenance shop on 3rd shift with the plasma cutter and different welders.

I guess snow and wind = productivity in the shop.

Here's the extent of the metalworking I've done lately. Machined a top for my homemade shaft puller.

Machining is a different set of tools. I made a Form-1 can for my son's .22 on the metal lathe last year though

Oh I know. Just wanted to put something in this thread metal wise. My DX250 sits in the corner of my shop not getting much use. I might touch that thing a handful of times a year. And I couldn't tell you when the last time I used the plasma cutter... or even where it is for that matter.

It's in there somewhere! lol

Edit: Found it. Look at the layer of dust on that thing. Dang.
