Mid Atlantic Meet Up- Sept/Oct Planning

Thanks for the invite, but I am most likely out for this one. It's only 4 hours away for me, but I have a trip to Fairfield Glade on the agenda for the very next weekend.

Not that it isn't doable, but golf trips 2 weekends in a row might make the natives restless. ;)
 
While I'd love to make this one, it's the weekend of my move to VB so I'm out. Keep me on the list for other meetups though!

I know that a bunch of courses have been mentioned, but @golfinnut was right about Rock Harbor. Great course that's always in good condition, plus 36 holes makes it possible to extend the fun. One of my favorite courses in reasonable driving distance from the DC-ish area in VA.

I've also played Devil's Knob. Fun layout as well and a course I'd be happy to go back to. Dunno if you have to stay there to get tee times or not. Last time I was there was for a golf trip in the fall a few years ago.

Devil’s Knob typically would need a stay there or a member to set up tee times. I have a friend who does all the home inspections for the realtors up there and most are members so may be able to access that way. I also have a technician that works for me and does service at most the homes up there and many of them are members and may be able to get tee times through one of them as well. No guarantee on either but definitely a good possibility.
 
Life is kicking my butt lately but I'm interested and will keep checking this thread as you get closer to choosing a location and date
 
My calendar is in flux. I’ll check back as it gets solidified. I’d like to make it but I’d rather say probably not and check back in if I can make it work.

Been following along, but right now I got tournaments September 20 and 21.
 
So I’m gonna give it to the 31st and we’ll lock it up to allow enough time to get tee times set (@Stryker )and so folks can make arrangements.

Happy to help! You do a ton organizing these so any little bit I can do to assist I always willing!
 
Come on guys! Love to see some more folks get in on this. The more the merrier. Just as an FYI, there are a bunch of good breweries, distilleries, and wineries in Nellysford. Several have great food as well so we can go check that out while there or get lunch/dinner after.

Was just told about this!
So not that it matters but I would be able to attend this time. I have 2 VSGA tournaments in Sept (1 before & 1 after) plus a week long workshop for work the week before this event.
Hate to miss the chance to meet some of you but hopefully a few more will come up within the Mid Atlantic.

Side note: Anyone local to the Hampton Roads/Williamsburg area?
