Mitsubishi Diamana WB Shaft Review

Agreed. A couple times at the range I go after it for testing and it just remains so stable
What’s especially interesting for me is that I was gaming an XS flex, and this WB is stiff but it still feels very stable and I trust where it’s going to be throughout my swing.

I've had several comments on how cool the weave looks on the Diamana putter shaft. But I'm with you, I like the matte, simple, tried and true graphics they use on the wood shaft line.
I think they were hitting on you.

Yeah at this point I feel like you just can’t compare the stiffness ratings across brands. Glad the WB is working for you, awesome gesture by jb

Reeeeeeealllllyyy excited to get the 73 into the X 3W this next week. That combined with dialing it down to 14 on the FF33 might just be the ticket.

Had a decent round with driver today. Hit 6 fairways with about 9 more just off, I average about 5. Distance was normal, about 240-250yd when hitting into the wind and about 270-280yd with the wind.

I think that on my best drives my Ventus Red was a bit longer, but that was when I went after it and timed it perfectly and get a bit of a kick. With the WB I feel like it’s more stable and I don’t have to worry about timing it as much. I don’t have numbers, but if I had to guess it’s prob ~10 yds less. WB has better dispersion for me and is farther for my normal swing as well.

Its kinda crazy right? There is feel for days, but it remains SO stable. I've found nothing else quite like it in the low/low category.

Yeah it’s great. It gives me confidence that if I put a good swing on it that the result will be good. My swing isn’t great, but that’s a me problem and I’m working on it.

That's just golf my dude. This damn sport is hard.

REALLY excited, and a little nervous, about the 73 TX coming in for the Adapt X 3W. It checks the boxes of what I need/want to see in terms of working to flatten the ball flight, and its a profile I know works well for me, but still mentally there is a little hesitation because I'm not hitting it bad with the Denali Black, its just about really dialing things in a little more for me.

I need 3W to be a weapon at Victoria National.

It’s going to be great! Can’t wait for you to dial it in for VN.

The Diamana line, including this WB are really picking up steam on tour with more players jumping in every week it seems like.

As they should be. It’s a fantastic shaft.

Adam Scott drove the ball real well on Saturday with one.

WB 73TX is here for the Adapt 3W

Had another solid round with the WB yesterday. Hit 7/12 fairways which is really good for me as I’m around 40%. The rest were just my really bad slices coming into play. Best drive of the day topped out at 290 with a baby fade.

With my solid hits I feel like I get less side spin. It’s mostly small fades of around 5-10 yds where as with my Ventus red, depending on my timing it could go anywhere from 5-30 yds. My slices are usually on the next fairway 😂

That’s a BOMB!

In the end, this stupid game is still hard haha

Sounds like you’re really starting to get comfortable though

Yeah it left me 130 to the pin and I hit a perfect 3/4 PW to 1in. So close to an eagle.

I really am getting comfortable with it as my confidence in it continues to grow. I know if I put a good swing it will at least be decent. If I put a bad swing on it, that’s on me and I just need to work on my swing.

I’m absolutley addicted to the WB, feel and dispersion have just always been such a good fit for me since I did the initial homepage review/release last year.

I don’t think the WB would’ve been on my radar so I’m super grateful to THP and Mitsubishi for the chance to try out this shaft.

Hell yes dude. That’s what it’s all about!

😍😍😍😍😍😍😍

First swings with the WB in a fairway today during my round and man, I’m quite pleased.

Even though it’s my first use of it in a fairway, the profile is just so damn good for me.

It was set to 13.6 today, but the flight was high with a flat trajectory that makes me absolutely excited.

Had prob my best day at the range today. Been working a lot on getting rid of my over the top move. Tried something today that seemed to work. Hit several in a row at the end clearing the tree line at my range, which is about 250yds out, and landing in the grass area behind it. Continuing to gain confidence in the shaft. Of course I’ll prob lose the swing tomorrow 😂 , it’s golf after all.

Just finished another round and had a good driving day. Swing is a bit better and less over the top. None of the 70 yd slices into the next fairway. The worst were 20-30yds into the right rough. I officially only hit 3 FWs, but on 3 of the holes it went where I aimed; it’s OB left so instead of aiming left fairway and letting it fade back I’ll aim middle right and it faded into the right rough. I’ve been fighting a two way miss the last few months so it’s in my head. On another hole it’s a short par 4, 300 yds and the right side is safer than the front so I aimed there and it went there. On the 18th, short par 4 274yds and I drove it hole high to the left hand bunker.

Love this shaft, when I went after it the final 4 driving holes it just stayed stable the whole time.
