Mitsubishi Diamana WB Shaft Review

the never-ending search is on. Tonight's first swing with WB 63s with Ai Smoke Max 9.

Like that ball flight
me too, the rest weren't all like that sadly 1 or 2 were similar at least. I like the feel of the WB shaft. Although there are times I feel like I need to try and make it work if that makes sense. I don't get that feel from the BB. I just need to remember to swing it and get try to get that right side through the ball.

I lean BB in the lineup, too

Looks good. Just do that every time 😃 you said you have to try and make it work compared to the BB, when it works is it better than the BB?
I think when it works it's slightly better for me because it knocks it down a touch. But I could easily be in both if I just remember to swing the damn club.

Golf is so demanding sometimes. Why won’t the clubs just swing themselves already and let us take credit for the good ones.

The 73TX WB going into my Adapt X 3W has been a REALLY good experiment so far.

Moving back to a 3W from a mini was/is a bit of a trip as it is, so I really wanted something that could help me flatten the trajectory out a bit and strengthen it to mimic what I got out of the GT280.

This one along with moving the 15.0 head down to 13.6, because FF33 is amazeballs, seem to be the ticket. I should have honestly hit it more off the tee in my competition round yesterday than I did, but when I did hit it the results were killer. Never in trouble, still a peak that is likely around 35-36Y, and just a very neutral ball flight.

Where I ordered my new BB wound up not having them :cautious: so a new WB 53S should be here tomorrow.

Dude, the 53 in the WB still lives in my head about the possibilities/potential.

It is really good in the Max-K. Not quite the feel of the BB but still nice, stable throughout the swing. I don't quite get that same loading feel at the top of the swing if that's the right way to put it but the results were great yesterday. It'll stay but I'm still gonna have my BB retipped just to see...

Different beast than the BB, haha

My most recent fitting at CC was clear that I do better with heavier shafts from an accuracy perspective but no combo we put together could beat out the WB 53/Smoke combo I'm gaming right now from a pure distance perspective. I'm torn on which way to go currently. Working on some swing issues before I make a decision.

Distance FTW

My BB in my Max-K 10.5* is just going too high, a little too much spin, to be optimal. Ballooning a bit, losing distance. Love the look and feel, though. How much would switching to the same weight and flex in a WB really impact me? A degree or two and a few hundred RPM?

I feel like this shaft will look great in the new Elyte Night Edition.
