It’s ok if there aren’t other options.Peach is my go-to whaaaat?
yessssssssssssssssss. Please take notes @LeftyGolferWI
Was it zero or sugar?
zero sugar. I almost never do the sugar ones unless it's pipeline punch and I'm feeling sassy. Was it zero or sugar?
39g of sugar???I saw a single can at Walmart. It drew me in because it stands out. I put it back when I saw 39g of sugar but I still want to try it.
Might have been 39g carbs and 36g sugar, but yeah....my metabolism talked me out of getting one but I really want to try it.39g of sugar???

I don't drink that either. I can't remember the last time I drank anything that wasn't zero sugar. Is it really that much compared to other things? A can of coke has 39g of sugar and that's only 12oz
make good choices.Going to hit 7-11 before my round this morning. Wonder what they will have at this one by the course that I never go to.
There is a lot of **** in a lot of different things sadly.Being the new guy, I can't decide if it would be a d!ck move to share some thoughts on what's in some of these energy drinks. Or, keep my mouth shut and let everyone enjoy them.
Not that I think I'm somehow particularly enlightened, I just listen to plenty of health & wellness podcasts...
Well, rather than torpedo everyone's energy drink habit, I'll first own up to my own. I got through several deployments chugging down Rip It, and I'll still break down and buy an energy drink probably once a week. This is on top of daily coffee and copious pre-workout 3x a week. There is a lot of **** in a lot of different things sadly.
If an energy drink is going to be that far worse than the rest of the stuff people shove down their doritochute, I will be amazed (and yes I too, know what is in them).
For what it's worth, Brecka himself retracted his statements on the cynadie thing because the numbers came out to need to drink over a thousand cans a day to come close to sniffing an unsafe level. It's certainly good to know what is and isn't being put in one's body. There's actually more cyanide in an apple than in an energy drink that uses the synthetic B12 and we all know that an apple a day keeps the doctor away or something like that.Well, rather than torpedo everyone's energy drink habit, I'll first own up to my own. But with regards to energy drinks, look on the label on the back for Vitamin B12. If it reads "cyanocobalamin" you're drinking the synthetic form of vitamin B12 made in a lab, and it's made with cyanide. Yes, the same cyanide used in chemical weapons. The US uses "single dose toxicity" metrics to determine if things are safe for the shelves, and since the amount of cyanide is very low, it's considered safe.
In my humble opinion, drinking a little cyanide each day over time is probably not a good idea. So if you're going to have an energy drink, go for Bang or Ghost which use methylcobalamin, a naturally occurring cyanide-free form of B12. (And if you've never had the Orange Cream Ghost....freakin' delicious.)
Again, I'm no scientist or expert...podcast knowledge (Gary Brecka), but I did look into it and it's all true.
Really?! I hadn't caught that retraction; going to have to search for that.
